When run from the terminal, boinc_3.18_powerpc-apple-darwin outputs the following, exiting with a segmentation violation:

Does anybody have an idea about what's going on?

Sorry Bernie I don't Know, but I would like to know what is your hardware and OS ? I have a G4 800 here running on OS 10.2.8 and I just wanted to figure out the benchmark results I will have when they release a new version that works on
Jaguar 10.2.8

Thanks and good luck

Cheers

Hello Marc,

System info is: G4 867 (Quicksilver), OS 10.3.4.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what other processes may have been running while the benchmark test was taking place (I didn't know it would occur). They, perhaps, could have affected the result.

I did discover how to avoid the segmentation violation fault; it is necessary to cd to the directory containing boinc before launching it.

Best regards,
