. . Hi Kiska . . The files were on Stumble's server but I am not sure if he is still making it available, I haven't heard from him for quite a while. If I can remember how to use DropBox I could upload what I have to there. Basically you just need the .cmd file and a good text editor (Stumbles used Sublime Text 3 which I installed for the purpose). I am sure there is an equivalent for Linux even if Sublime text 3 itself does not have a Linux version. Stephen . |

Wow! 12+ hour outrage has ended. Let's hope they have fixed the work fetch issues. . . From what I have seen so far... absolutely NOT! I haven't been able to get one single new task since the outage ended. So the malady lingers on. Stephen :( |

. . Then it is a good thing I am by nature a troglodyte :) . . I could never d/l the compiled versions, they kept failing one virus checker or another so I stuck to the script versions. They work well enough for me. Stephen :) |

Well, the Server Status page shows things are up again, however on one system so far all the Scheduler requests have resulted in "Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error" even when trying to report only 30 WUs at a time (now only 15WUs at a time). . . Nope, no new work here so far ... Stephen :( |

. . Nope, no new work here so far I've picked up some (none for the GPUs, still empty), but then it went back to HTTP errors with the occasional "Couldn't connect to server" error thrown in, just for something different. And that's in between the web site going down, then coming back and being very random in it's response times when it is up. Posting in the forum can take a couple of seconds, or a couple of minutes. EDIT- interestingly my system that isn't having Scheduler issues (other than 2 "Couldn't connect to server" ones) is also the one that doesn't require the application settings to be flipped back & forth to continue getting work. Now getting continual "Can't connect messages" for every work request. If it's more than a glitch (some glitch) we'll just have to wait for the tyre kicker to get up in a few hours time :-( However the boards are responding faster than they were... They may be faster but finding switching from a thread to the main index very sluggish & trying to post worse :-( |

I'm getting project has no tasks available :-( "SETI is probably the most important quest of our time, and it amazes me that governments and corporations are not supporting it sufficiently."- Arthur C. Clarke 2006 |

I got one cache filled and the other 75% in the last 20 minutes but the servers are apparently either getting slammed or are sick. In and out of communication. The pages are still a disaster (forever to load this post) but I've noticed that to one degree or another since the switch to the Mobile Friendly format. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

I'm getting project has no tasks available :-( You're lucky then. For me it's mostly been HTTP errors and the occasional "Couldn't connect to server." Grant Darwin NT |

Someone needs to crawl down the Jeffries Tube and give the Warp Core a swift kick in the Dilithium Crystals............ " : D as for me I'm off to bed, time heals all. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

I too haven't seen 1 task downloaded on all 3 systems. Just no connection messages or project has no tasks. If I ever get work ... great. In the meantime the computers are happily crunching for MilkyWay and Einstein. Time for bed. Maybe in the morning something will have changed. About 20min ago i started getting responses from the Scheduler, and it only took 3-4sec, not the minute+ it had been before erroring out. And after a couple of "Project has no work" responses, I managed to pick up a few 100 WUs. Another 200 or so and I'll be right again. And the forums appear to be considerably more responsive. *fingers crossed* EDIT- And the Server Status page is updating again. Grant Darwin NT |

Doing fairly good getting work, except I can't seem to get any GPU work for my big hitter. Hate to see 3 GPUs sitting idle. Splitting seems robust at about 130k/hr, but with demand at 175k/hr it's a losing proposition until demand eases off a bit. |

Who needs a good text editor?! I'll use nano, and if nano is not available then I'll use vim |
