Message 1837642 - Posted: 24 Dec 2016, 2:51:25 UTC - in response to Message 1837606.

for example, many ppl asking about the ntpckr and the state of the project, is work actually done or not?

Read about Nebula, the correlation is being done over at Einstein.

Any chance we could get the ability to change the result sort between by Ave credit and total points added on?

Where?
You can already sort on Average Credit or Total Credit on the Statistics pages, you can do it on your Computer page in your account.

For anyone reading here who is not aware of Nebula and what it may mean for SETI@Home

I suggest you look here.

BUG Report (I don't know if it's already reported):
Signatur, I have between both pictures a 'space/empty step' and not a 'return/return key', but the 2nd picture is in the line below.

EDIT:
BTW.
The 2nd picture is clickable, but the whole line from left to right is clickable - not just the picture alone.

EDIT#2:
Ah, BTW., PC, Windows 8.1 x64, Mozilla Firefox v50.1.0

Message 1838141 - Posted: 28 Dec 2016, 0:53:57 UTC - in response to Message 1837263.

Not a gripe, but an issue perhaps caused by the rollout of the new web page schema.

When down for weekly maintenance, the Account page (home.php) no longer gives a "down for maintenance" message, but rather attempts to connect to the database servers and splatters errors due to the db being off line. Looks like the "is it down?" check got lost ...

Just a bump to note that this is still an outstanding problem.

And one final request to allow my stats blocks to display side by side rather than over/under.
Please?

David knows about it and will look for a solution soon. As I found out and told him, all image tags want to start on a new line, doesn't matter where you put them.

Using standard fonts instead of Google fonts would help a great deal here.

Cheers.

How are you supposed to find the Instructions for SETI@home Classic users If you haven't used BOINC before link since the site was upgraded?

Couldn't find it in the drop down menu's, and would have hoped to find it linked off on the Join SETI@home page, but it's not there.

Changing from one account to another ? How ?

Is anyone else having problems with the 'loading' of the pages especially in the message threads? The load seems to go on interminably. Further I have had posts seemingly disappear after hitting the post button.

Any chance of getting the "task" status interface similar to what Einstein currently uses? When you have several hundred tasks awaiting validation, its tiresome to scroll thru at 20 tasks per time to finally check on the oldest laggards. Much simpler in Einstein, you just hit the "last" button and jump to the page.

Or is there an existing shortcut that I am missing?

Following on from the post by Ghan-buri-Ghan Mike - what about sorting on the columns, particular the dates.

Here's a sample of the URl when looking at tasks:
https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?userid=9862389&offset=0&show_names=0&state=2&appid=20
You can manually change &offset=0 to whatever value you want and get there directly.
Case in point, I had 3481 with validation pending, so I changed &offset=3461 and get the last 20 tasks. Can then use previous from there.
But I agree it would nice to have something better.

The rotating star that a few of us have was designed for a light background so has light fade pixels that stand out rather poorly on the new dark background. I corrected this and here's an updated one:

Please feel free to save and use this one to replace the existing file.
