Well, I had only two words for that 8 year nightmare known as barrack HUSSEIN obama..... Talking about dishonesty, which of the following two numbers is larger: 62,980,160 65,845,063 ? Trump did not have a majority, not even a plurality of votes cast, the Dems got that. Looking forward to see how many House seats the gerrymandering by Rep state legislatures cost the Dems. Oh that's right, facts no longer matter, Trump "Goldman Sachs robbed our working class" "Goldman Sachs have total control over Hillary Clinton", appoints former employees of Goldman Sachs to his cabinet. Bait and switch and the believers don't/can't/won't see it - facts don't matter. I noticed hussein was disrespectful to the military up to the last moment. I saw (then) president-elect Trump salute the door guards (twice) so they could relax their solute, but military being military, they didn't drop their solute until the (then) president soluted them. And the (then) president didn't raise a solute until he was behind them so they didn't see it. What an @55. This time, the military showed full respect through the full 8 years no matter how much they were spat on by their CINC. When Bill Clinton was busy staining blue dresses, the military showed their disapproval by no longer doing facing movements when bill entered/exited doorways/helicopters/planes. It's "salute", not "solute", you do seem to have a fondness for insisting chemistry has a place where it does not belong. A self-professed military man fails to spell salute correctly 4 out of 5 times, a self-professed computer science teacher believes that chemistry is the subject that covers the internal operations of a functioning CPU (it's physics and/or electrical engineering - or possibly electronics; if there's chemistry going on in your CPU, it's failed and probably catastrophically). Commenting on disrespect while not even capitalizing a person's name? Right, facts don't matter and it's the media that's dishonest. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Yeah, things might get a bit rough around the old US of A for a while. You cannot reign in a few decades of debacle without twisting some thumbs. I am convinced that Trump shall do what needs to be done to set this country straight. And there is gonna be more than a few oxen galled. The free ride era is coming to an end, my friends. No more free lunch.- And if that starves a few, I suspect most of them had their meal ticket in their hand that shall no longer be punched. Go to work, deadbeats. Effing right wing militia criminals everywhere (rednecks). I'll be here when the Putin puppet fails, and you will sneak away with your devilish tail between your legs. Too stoopid to see the bait and switch (Russian) scam, eh? No problem. We have elected a president that shall either A. Be a friend of Russia. or B. Take them out like we should have under Kennedy. Your choice has been made, I shall bet on scenario B. His petting of Putin does not convince me. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Policical analphabets. I have placed a lot of trust in whiskey. Politics, not so much faith. There is an old saying. Trust half of what you see, and nothing of what you hear or read. It is always bound to trouble if you do not heed that advice. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

bobby, trump got a super majority of counties, and a majority of states. We do not live in a pure democracy. They always fail. And gerrymandering is a state thing. You got a problem with that? Let your state reps know. We are a nation of STATES. To the best of my knowledge, there has never been a "pure democracy" anywhere to fail. The only place to have come close to the system was the Athenian democracy, the closest to the system in existence today is in Switzerland. The system in the US, as a great Republican President once said, is "of the people, by the people, for the people", and the people, by a significant number, did not choose the POTUS that's currently in place. As you know, as far as the EC is concerned counties matter as much a people, so a super majority of counties is as important to the EC as a plurality of votes cast (though on the subject of people, counties and states, there are more people living in the county I live in than in a number of the smaller states combined). I don't live in a state where the Reps have gerrymandered House seats away from Dems (which, in the case of NC at least, was done in an unconstitutional, race-based manner). Goldman Sachs? Gonna have to name names on that one with some form of indication those *same* names supported that felon hillary before Trump hired them for it to have any weight to the point you're trying to make. Post-truth, pre-truth... what about ex post facto truths? How about I just start referring to obama facts, or hillary facts, or chuck YOU! schumer facts so we can differentiate between reality and hallucinations? Steve Bannon. Steve Mnuchin. Gary Cohn. And while the last two may have contributed to Clinton in the past, if Goldman Sachs are as bad as Trump believes, and Clinton's relationship with the organization was good cause for criticism, why is the same not true when Trump appoints them to his cabinet? If it's OK for Trump, why wasn't it OK for Clinton? Double standards (aka hypocrisy) is a possible answer. Pointing out spelling errors again? Just as bad as the veiled personal attacks from non-sarge. Personal attacks are the last vestige of the losing side of an argument. And you're still harping on about what YOU THINK I believe about CPUs and Chemistry, even though I've explained to you that I was making a point? Keep repeating it over and over again and people will forget what really happened and start believing your ex post facto truth. When was the last time I pointed out a spelling error? I make enough of them myself to know better than to call them out on a regular basis. You said I was mixing chemistry and law, when talking about functioning CPUs and a matter about law. You explained the point you thought you were trying to make, the point you made was that you appear to know little about CPUs, which seems odd given your claim to have been a teacher of Computer Science. As for the reason why some might have trouble understanding what really happened, could it be that one of us replaced their posting history with dashes? This would be the same person accusing others of retroactively creating truth (the, likely unintended, irony of the accusation is not lost one me). And yes, I show respect and I show disrespect where it is deserved. And I will continue to show/not show as I see fit. Children need authoritative figures--also known as adults; otherwise, they grow up to become incapable of taking care of themselves in modern society. It's actually irresponsible to raise children who can't take care of themselves when they become physically mature. In order to be an adult, one must be mentally mature also. And in our species, and this day and age, this isn't something that come naturally in most. It requires mature adults to demonstrate it. You are welcome to your beliefs about the needs of children. To the best of my knowledge, none have been posting here. And I don't bow to kings, I don't kiss @55 and I don't allow anyone to blackmail me. Liberty or death, dude. Didn't watch it, won't watch it. Am not going along with the idea that the Trump Presidency is somehow normal. It's an abomination, the only way things could get worse in the next four years is if he has to vacate the position and Pence were to become POTUS. Enough of the hyphenated Americans! We are all Americans! (except for the illegals who are selling drugs and committing other crimes; they are going to run before they are rounded up and deported.) Yes, as a better man said, "We're not red states and blue states; we're all Americans, standing up together for the red, white, and blue". Thank goodness for sanctuary cities, where the bigotry of a comment like the one you made is not welcome. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free", nothing about waiting for the right paperwork on the statue on Liberty Island, how far some of us have fallen from the ideals of former generations. Tutankhamon "Communist" -- that's a lot of tough talk. You'll be around, for sure, if he fails. Where you going to be when he's re-elected for a second term? Where are you going to be if he doesn't? I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

LOL! "Veiled personal attacks"? No, I say it outright, again and again. You do not live by the standards you set. Why in the world anyone has the patience to politely discuss things with you when you do not live by the standards you set is beyond me. I'd rather read what non-MajorKong writes than what you write. guy Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

I'd rather read what non-MajorKong writes than what you write. MK at least provides intelligently reasoned responses, even if I don't necessarily agree with everything he says. |

Obama was awared the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples". How many persons died from cancer during the same period? Is terrorism mankinds largest problem? Me think fighting cancer would save many more lives than fighting terrorism. The war against terrorism kills more people than terrorism does. I suggest you add death from cancer to your graph so we can compare. |

"Peasants at it again?" So much for some Dems revealing their true natures. MANY are revealing they're true, dark, natures. On both "sides". Scary to watch. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

Where were the flag waving, cheering crowds and V.I.P.'s? That's probably why I could quite clearly hear the "Boos" over the now and again "Cheers" during the parade. The parade itself will likely go down as the greatest non event of this century. Guy, and others like him, have just got to learn to live with the fact that the Donald is the most unpopular U.S. President in history, and a picture is worth more than a thousands words. Cheers. |
