In recent days, the firewall of my smartphone has blocked a connect that intrigued me.
Connecting was to:

mail.colliniconsulting.it:80

A connection by BOINC - Seti@home.

I live in Italy, near Milan, and I saw that Collini Consulting is Cesena.
300 km away, and I did not know about this site and even this company.
Nothing, in my Web connections, has ties with Collini Consulting.

Someone can explain to me if everything is correct?

Collini Consulting is a company.
I have called them by phone, and they have not been able to explain me anything.

A connection by the BOINC client, or by the Seti web site/forums? If the latter, it may be something someone has in their signature.

I have NoRoot firewall on my phone as well. What you show is a custom filter under the BOINC entry, so probably something you added yourself.

But I have not added anything to my Smartphone.
Accidentally I saw the connection to mail.colliniconsulting.it:80 and I denied access with my firewall.

It should now be BOINC (or Seti @ home) to say:

1 - it is right, it allows access
2 - it is wrong, denies access

Now, my question is:

BOINC (or Seti @ home) must connect to mail.colliniconsulting.it:80 ??

... To me it seems strange and curious ...

Neither BOINC nor Seti make use of that address. You can remove the connection/allowance through the firewall.

I've just reattached my device to Seti, the BOINC entry in the firewall is still without a custom filter. So it isn't Seti that did it, and it certainly isn't BOINC that did it. At least, not the BOINC by Berkeley, downloaded from the Google Play Store, here.

Do you use Berkeley's BOINC, or is it downloaded from elsewhere and built by someone else?

Also, as far as I can figure from the different sites reviewing NoRoot Firewall, and their own documentary, only the user of the phone can add a custom filter for an application, the application cannot do that itself. So, has your phone been in the hands of someone else at some point?

Today I write to Collini and ask explanations to them.

You can remove the connection/allowance through the firewall.

I have already given the command denied access to my firewall, such as the previous post image.
I have downloaded from the Google Play Store BOINC my Smartphone exactly as your link:

and I assure you that there have been no changes.
Except have seen the connection (for me suspicious) and have it blocked immediately.

As above I said, I downloaded directly from Google Play Store.
The Firewall of my Smartphone is configured to denied connections to many software when not in WiFi.
Coincidentally, away from a WiFi, I saw the Collini blocked for connection.
But ... it was blocked because away from WiFi.

This connection has intrigued me.

Once at home, in my WiFi, I permanently blocked this connection.
And I created this post.

No one touches or can touch my Smartphone.
