Is the sky blue? Depends on what Donald Trump says wrote:
Republicans generally agree that politicians should not enrich themselves while running the country. Yet most think it is okay for President Donald Trump to do so.

Well I guess by your standards I'm not a liberal because I heard on NPR this AM the Trump wants to bring back the Glass Steagall Act. I highly approve of that as I was very concerned when it was repealed. Many of my worst fears were confirmed.

A republican calling for bank regulation, has to be fake news.

Actually it would make sense because the investment banks would get out of the stress test requirements.

A message that needs to be taken seriously, as the scumbag Assad learned tonight. The Ayatollah, the 'Fat Little North Korean' and Comrade Putin should also pay attention.

Bound and determined to start more wars where the USA loses, like Vietnam where the people want the government that is in power and not some US puppet regime. But that's shrub rerun.

Can't take it seriously so long as it continues the ridiculous assertion that Obama was one of them.

Agree.

Obama was just an enabler of evil.

BUT...

...didn't you Yanks give him 8 years of power?

Obama was just an enabler of evil.
As 'W' said, "You're either with us, or against us."

Obama was a moral and physical coward who drew 'red lines' with his inspirational orating skills, but lacked the spine to back his feckless stand. Apparently babies choking to death on Sarin means more to Trump than B.O.

Let the Market be TOTALLY free of Government interference.

Based upon what I see in the ISP market, I'd have to disagree. If left alone, business have no problems colluding and price fixing to corner markets and reap as much money as they can.

I don't think there should be a lot of government oversight, but I don't think it should be totally free either.

*this*. exactly.

I don't know why a little regulation is equated to 'big government'
I don't know why a little regulation is often equated to 'marxism'

It's not the size of the regulations that matter, it's the amount and scope. You can't fart without an EPA variance and environmental study. (Designed no doubt to provide employment for former EPA employees now making a killing doing the studies).

It is only when the American public wizes up and speaks out about those people that things can change.
I would like to believe that more and more Americans are finally doing so.
I know, a pipe dream.......but.........I really thing the public landscape has finally shifted.
The last election should be proof enough of that.

What difference does that make, releasing a gaseous odorant is a crime under state law.

The Penultimate reason I voted for Trump was accomplished today. A Justice sworn to the Supreme Court in the mold of Antonin Scalia, a Justice who will be impartial to all and devoted to the Constitution AS WRITTEN, and who will not 'legislate from the bench'. The Dims shot themselves in the head by causing the 'nuclear option' to be employed(a precedent they set), and which will come back to haunt them as many as 3 more time in the next 3 years.

Ginsberg and Kennedy are in their 80s and Thomas isn't that much younger.

The fact there were no protests today during either swearing in ceremony just proves their was no valid reason for protesting Neil Gorsuch's confirmation, just pure partisan BS writ large, by Schumer the Obstructor.

As Pete Seegar wrote and sang..."They're waist deep in the Big Muddy, and the damn fool says to push on."
