Explain to me how someone can have income and not be able to pay.
?? pay what?? food on the table?

Apparently, you're unaware of the almost half who file a tax returns and pay absolutely nothing in income tax.
That isn't the only tax; a fact you seem utterly unaware of.

Keep changing the subject. Saul Alinsky rules for radicals, #8.

You may want to reconsider your oft-stated disdain for this book... among other things it was central to organizing the Tea Party's strategy and protests, and William F. Buckley was a great admirer of Saul Alinsky. Note that it may be called "Rules for Radicals" but it doesn't qualify which radicals; it simply attempts to show how to overcome a moneyed, powerful opposition (these days they'd be called "the elite") while having neither.

Now, you can argue whether she's stupid for paying that much or not, or whether she deserves to pay that much in taxes due to her own income levels, but the bigger picture is that this seems to be a "normal" occurrence here in the US. The taxes burden those who can't afford it more than it burdens those who can.
You are trying to take both sides.........

No, I'm explaining to you what the viewpoint of the left is. If you're going to level criticism of the other side's viewpoint, at least state it correctly first instead of creating a strawman argument then knocking down the strawman. It's an injustice to your own viewpoint if you can't counter the other side's accurately.

And by the way Mr Buffet famously made that statement that he doesn't pay enough taxes so the question becomes: Why doesn't he VOLUNTARILY pay more?

Because that wouldn't fix the systemic problem now, would it?

You're hallucinations are just helping me come to the conclusion that we are in for another violent civil war. The only way I see one side (who's living is some sort of fantasy world and blocking out reality because it doesn't fit their snowflake world) and those who actually produce and made this country great (and will make this country great again) coming to some sort of understanding is through violence.

I still want to give a CONVENTION OF STATES a shot. And if that's not enough, there's nothing left but extreme violence.

So now we can all see where you stand. If you can't have it your way, you'll force it upon others through advocation of violence rather than in the tradition of compromise like our Forefathers setup for our great republic. Your position of violence is the enemy of democracy.

That isn't permitted by saul alinksky rules for radicals. That work seems to infest his posting, I guess it rubbed off on him, unless he is a radical?

I don't get that impression from JaundicedEye's postings. Guy's maybe, but not JE's. And I think he just likes to regurgitate right-wing talking points rather unthoughtfully and I'm hoping to provoke him into seeing things differently, even if he doesn't agree with the viewpoints himself. I think out of all of our conservative friends, JE and MK are the only two that can be reasoned with until they prove otherwise. At which point I think I will lose all hope for politics in the US, and my hope is getting dimmer by the day as it is.

Not sure where the "hallucinations" bit comes in...

Anyways, I'll elaborate: when Dick Armey was House Majority Leader he was also involved with FreedomWorks, a "right wing" grassroots advocacy group from which sprang the Tea Party. He gave a copy of Rules for Radicals to all the Tea Party leaders, and it's still required reading at FreedomWorks. So it turns out that this book was an important organizing tool for the movement that ended up being a large contributor to getting Donald Trump elected.

Also there's about as much need for violent civil war in the U.S. right now as there is in a town hall meeting to appoint the city dogcatcher. So much of this so-called divisiveness I see is much ado about very little, digitally magnified molehill mountains amplified by the internet, a double-edged sword if ever there was one. Unfortunately there are many vested interests who would like to see such divisiveness continue... it sells clicks. May the cooler heads prevail...
