There may be one flaw in your argument sir , didn't the Romans build the wall and not the Roman Catholic church ????

Yes he does have a nice shack full off gold and precious art . :) now if only they would sell it all and pay compo to all those they have wronged . Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse

When the Leaders of Movements, who state they are for Economic Equality, really live as those they Control. Then they can then be considered Non-Frauds.

May I present, Jose Mujica, president of Uruguay from 2010 to 2015.

Laundry is strung outside the house. The water comes from a well in a yard, overgrown with weeds. Only two police officers and Manuela, a three-legged dog, keep watch outside.

This is the residence of the president of Uruguay, Jose Mujica, whose lifestyle clearly differs sharply from that of most other world leaders.

President Mujica has shunned the luxurious house that the Uruguayan state provides for its leaders and opted to stay at his wife's farmhouse, off a dirt road outside the capital, Montevideo.

The president and his wife work the land themselves, growing flowers.

This austere lifestyle - and the fact that Mujica donates about 90% of his monthly salary, equivalent to $12,000 (£7,500), to charity - has led him to be labelled the poorest president in the world.

I can't think of many other examples of high-ranking politicians.
Edit: ... recent. There was Mohandas Gandhi of course.

Have you been to the Vatican City?
I have.
Think about the walls as fire walls instead.
There is also no "border" control and some vetting to enter the city.

Is that the reason the wall was built to stop fires from spreading ???

Rome did burn to the ground at least once or twice

I think the wall serves two purposes.
First to stop fire spreading and then as a protection against invaders.
The protection against invaders have though become obsolete for many centuries.
“The walls are a fortification, there is no question, but they were a fortification built at a time when armed invasions by barbarians and other forces were happening,”

May I present, Jose Mujica, president of Uruguay from 2010 to 2015.

We have been warned of his morning mood and photographer knocking gently on the door.
- Can we come in? she wonders.
- Go right in. The door is open, we hear the president answer.
I cringe me for the low doorframe and step into the entryway. Three pieces of wood burning in the stove, otherwise it is dark in the cabin that is no more than 60 square meters. The photographer can not find the president and go into the kitchen. She was greeted by a roar.
- Get out! What are you doing there !? screaming Mujica behind a door.
Presidential press secretary waving nervously with his hands.
- Come come. We go out again, he says.
We place ourselves outside the cottage and the Press Secretary wonder what went wrong.
- I'm sitting on the toilet. You may wait a bit, responding Uruguay's president.
"El Pepe" as he is called, has put his country on the map and loved by his people. But he has a bad morning mood. Only when we hear him flush the toilet, we dear go into the cottage again. A bicycle leaning against one wall in the vestibule and on the shelves are crowded gadgets and books. It feels more like we came home to a weird costermonger than a beloved president.

A picture from Jose Mujica's kitchen in his luxurious palace.

Jose Mujica sounds like my kind of guy. He seems to make an effort to keep his feet planted in the real world.

That's it? Socialist supporter's reference Uruguay? OK, I will now modify, and say 99% of Socialist Leaders are Frauds.

Sorry, Clyde, you lost me... you asked for an example of a leader who lived as their people do, and I provided one.
Unsure what you mean.
(Also don't forget M. Gandhi, and he was also the leader of a movement too.)
