I'm at some middle ground between notable milestones for Seti. I did go past 500M for BOINC last Tuesday during the outrage.

Just passed 5 Million total for SETI, more than half of that in the last 2 years.

Today, I passed a big round number. 250 million SETI@home credits. And at the end of last month joined the 17 year club.

Here's to the next 50 million finish line.

Thanks Al. I keep fiddling with the Linux systems or the older one at least. Been off more than on trying to debug various issues the last day. I made a change to the network interface name last year when I got fed up with the name changing every BIOS update. Now I want to change it back to defaults and I can't figure out how I made the change last year. All the files are standard fare but the system consistently renames the default interface name. Been pulling my hair out, (or the peach fuzz remnants of any hair I originally had), finally resorted to asking the question in the Ubuntu Help forums. Tried to explain the situation so that I don't get the standard response back. Easy to make the change but impossible to reverse it.

Once I decide how I want to hardware upgrade the Windows 7 systems, the farm output should rise again some more with the special app.

Well, even with CreditScrew, I've just broken 10K RAC due to adding a MacPro 5,1 System to my list of Crunchers... Now up to three full time crunchers at approx 18 hours a day of crunching, and one part time cruncher. The part time cruncher is my parents' Desktop system.

The 5,1 has ONLY been crunching for 24 hours and has gotten me to break the 10K RAC barrier. :-) I'm waiting for a response from TBar in another Thread, and if he gives me a "go" I will be adding an EVGA GTX-1050 "Gaming" 2GB GDDR5 VRAM Card to the 5,1 to help me even more. :-)

[EDIT:]Forgot to mention that one of the Crunchers is crunching Einstein@Home... So, for SETI, I now have two Full Time Crunchers... The system crunching Einstein is my Win XP Pro, x64 System with an AMD A6-6400K machine with one EVGA GTX-760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM Card.

The two Full Time SETI Crunchers are my Hackintosh MacPro 3,1 and now the new 5,1. The part timer is an i7 7700 with HD-630 Integrated GPU.
