When an adult male is chasing a female down an alley with a butcher knife and a hardon, who would you shoot?
Get real. And this was just a simple question and answer test.. That would be not considered PC in this day and age..

That should be the only test of sanity. And most police departments do not require that simple test.

And as to my eyesight..........I can build firetrucks both hands tied behind my back with slippers on.
Am I optimum at that point? No, I am not. And that is why I am considering any options for my eyesight.
I have already had lens implants in both eyes. Little plastic bits taking the place of what God gave me.
And then, laser surgery over the top of that.
Who gives you the right to second judge what I am able to do at my job?

It's about American Race and Racism 1970 to Present.

Mark, that's a middle-school teaching aid Google doc placed there for K-12 students. It only discusses issues since the 1970s and doesn't claim that is where they were invented. (I'd wager this is because anything before the 1970s would be considered prehistoric by the intended very young audience...) Etymology Online shows the word in use since 1936 with its current meaning.

Yes, I realize that my simple statement was a bonehead moment. The statement is basically untrue, and I hereby retract it.

Racism has probably existed since the moment somebody noticed that the person next to him had different coloring in his skin.
I am not a racist. I work alongside men of color every day. And those of different origin than the traditional German and Swedish folk that make up 99 percent of the Wisconsin culture.
We are almost all immigrants here. There are very few of the original indian tribes still here, and sadly, we have relegated them to their own little 'reservations'.........now THAT could be considered a racist term.

My grandparents came to this country in the 40s to escape Germany.
And I understand that it is now a different country than what it was at that time.
