Chris this article should help and i would bookmark it if i were you http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN288786 Trust me the 1234 codes / beeps are the same for the precisions ( i've got 3 different models ) If it's as easy as 3/4 staying lit plug a keyboard in and press F1 then enter ( same goes for 1/3/4 ) :-) Life is what you make of it :-) When i'm good i'm very good , but when i'm bad i'm shi#eloads better ;-) In't I " buttercups " p.m.s.l at authoritie !!;-) |

http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/p/19598555/20860747#20860747 seems to have a list from a guy at dell with a compatibility list and that does say the x5570 should work in theory, but ymmv due to the 3 motherboard revisions. Maybe the processors is faulty??? |

When you get a Precision working properly it is a good machine but you have to jump through hoops to get there. I got 3 up and running here and i had to install the o/s swap out the quadro's for 750ti's install the drivers and let em run , they work fine as they come Chris . Mine mite be "quirky" but no major problems Life is what you make of it :-) When i'm good i'm very good , but when i'm bad i'm shi#eloads better ;-) In't I " buttercups " p.m.s.l at authoritie !!;-) |
