Message 1824384 - Posted: 15 Oct 2016, 1:32:53 UTC - in response to Message 1824383.

Trump winning?
But that is what I think most americans fear the most.
According to polls that is.

Trump winning...

Clinton winning...

No difference in kind, though maybe in degree -- but that is debatable.

Both are corrupt, though in different ways.

Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016.

Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power.

Message 1824970 - Posted: 17 Oct 2016, 18:12:17 UTC - in response to Message 1823982.

From this study/poll, here are the people I FEAR the most.
The "personal fears" these people have require me to fear them.

Clowns Personal Fears 7.8
Zombies Personal Fears 10.2
Needles Personal Fears 16.7
Reptiles Personal Fears 33.2
Ghosts Personal Fears 8.9
Blood Personal Fears 11.7
Insects/arachnids Personal Fears 25

Q. Do people who fear zombies and ghosts vote?

Now, now, Clyde and Kong have told us these are valid fears.

Message 1824992 - Posted: 17 Oct 2016, 19:45:19 UTC

In the 80s, people feared listening to hard rock & heavy metal music would lead to:

1) Disrespect for authority.
2) Depraved sexual and violent acts.
3) Suicide.
4) Etc. ... .

Don't think we hear much about that these days.
So, if it was a valid fear, why does a valid fear sometimes become invalid?

All fears are valid, to those that have them.

Why does a valid fear (to someone that has it) sometimes become invalid (to the person that use to have it)?

They are very much a source to fear to some people.
Cognitive behavioral therapy can help for these kind of phobias.
But as a therapy to cure fear of corrupt governments...

Still think that fears of Government corruption are groundless?

Two reporters are facing jail.. one for 30 years, one for 45 years... for filming a protest against an oil pipeline where some of the protesters were injured by pipeline personnel, and interviewing some of the protesters.

All hail our corrupt governmental overlords... <spit>

<grin>

'in their pocket'... therefore 'corrupt'.

It is still Governmental power being used... even if it is at the behest of some corporation.

I've said it before. I'll say it again. Those supporting Trump wish to remove the puppets and put in place a puppet MASTER.

And I have said it before, and I will say it again...

Yes, Trump is bad... VERY bad...

Clinton, however, is worse... MUCH worse...

Neither one have my support.

It is a choice between a fascist dictator wannabe (Trunp)...

And a psychopathic corrupt mobster (Clinton)...

No matter which one wins, the USA is screwed... And it is a virtual certainty that one of them will... The electoral process in the USA has been corrupted by the two 'major' Parties, the D's and the R's... Yes, the process is RIGGED. Evidence: We have the choice between these two.... thugs.

Sorry, but as much as some of us would like it if the L's or the G's won... ain't gonna happen. The D/R oligarchy is too firmly entrenched.

And we have a winner!

The Number One Fear of the American People is:

No matter which one wins, the USA is screwed... And it is a virtual certainty that one of them will.

Uhh... not entirely true, though they certainly do not help.

It is the D's/R's influence on the States in the difficulty in getting on the ballot, combined with their influence on the MSM... You are, by and large, required to have a certain showing in the previous election to get on the ballot this election, and the D's/R's have their cheerleaders in the MSM that have hoodwinked the American People into thinking that a vote for another Party is a 'wasted vote'.

Only 3 parties are even on the ballot in all 50 States: The D's, the R's, and the L's... and support for the L's in the MSM is weak indeed. The G's (or any other party)?? Forgetaboutit.
