Sorry that I have to ask again, but I do. Termites have been eating away at my
home and I now have a few huge holes in my floors. Thank you for whatever help
you can give. I understand if you can't afford to help. God bless you and help
you with whatever you need.

Please Help Sue Repair Termite Damage

Thank you.

Sorry to hear that Suzie. If you have that much visible damage, then I think even tenting it will not help you, on top of all the invisible stuff.
I am also too far away to foster any of your Granimals.

Anybody out there, that knows how to help this Veteran?

A HUGE thank you to those of you who have donated. I'm on my way to a termite-
free, hole-free home!

The good news is that Terminix's estimate was much lower than I expected.
They'll do a whole-home treatment for only $1,250. I expected it to be closer
to $2,000, since that's what Orkin told me a few years ago. Also, Terminix
will let me make payments, which is a blessing.

Now more of the donated money can be used to fix holes in the floor and damage
to the walls, window sills and frames. (I didn't post pix of the wall or
window damage.)

Thank you again!

They don't do tenting here. That's for a different type of termite. We have
subterranean termites here, so the treatment (poison) goes into the ground.
The animals will be fine. They won't be exposed.

Thank you for your kind words.

The Victorville and Hesperia CA areas have an ancient form of termites, tenting can be done, but these termites are only near the part of the Mojave River that is above ground, the areas of the high desert that aren't near the Mojave River, like West of the BNSF/UP railroad tracks in Hesperia, or in SW Victorville near the fwy or to the west of the fwy or in Adelanto CA don't have this problem, though all areas are subject to dry rot and Black Mold...

I wish I could help Suzie, My Mom had been given a house and garage that had termites(No a/c or insulation, a hot box to live in, with knob and tube wiring, the place needed work, lots of it), the house was made with rough cut 2"x4" lumber, the garage had 2"x3" rough cut lumber, after minor repairs was done, I reroofed the garage, this was around 1980.

I've taken care of the termites by having Terminix (which was much cheaper
than Orkin) come and do a complete treatment.

Now I just have to have the floors, walls, etc. repaired.

Thanks for any help you have given or can give.
