I am not getting any SETI work. I am getting Rosetta@home work but nothing from SETI and I am wondering why. I am running Ubuntu 16.04 with 16Gig of ram ,AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 B50 Processor × 4 , GeForce 210/PCIe/SSE2. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be appreciative. Thanks Keith |

I am getting SETI@home tasks on 2 Linux boxes, a 32-bit laptop with SuSE Linux 13.2 and a 64-bit SUN workstation with SuSE Linux Leap 42.1. On the first I am getting only CPU tasks since it does not have a GPU board. on the second I am getting both CPU and GPU tasks. Its board is an AMD/ATI HD 7770 with Opencl1.2. I am not an expert of GPU boards and I don't know the one you have. On a Windows 10 PC I have a Geforce GTX 750 OC and a 370.92 driver. It can run also SETI@home tasks but it is running mostly CERN tasks with VirtualBox and Einstein@home GPU tasks using CUDA. Tullio |

I did some research and it appears the priority of my project is 0 and that might be the cause of my problems but I don't know how to change the priority I think if i figure that out I should be good |

Changing the priority of a project is simple. On the project's website go to "your account" page (exact name varies between projects). Look for the link or tab that looks like "this project preferences", and find the "edit preferences" link (again very project dependent), find the "resource share" box (often at the top of the list), and set it to a higher value (the value range is zero to 1000). As you have found zero is a strange value, it results in that project only running when there is no work from any of your non-zero projects. Setting "resource share" in one project only affects that project, but it does affect the balance between projects. Also, it is not an continuous share, but a long term work balance share - someone may come along and tell you how long "long term" is, but my impression is that it is weeks if not months.
