I really feel it was a draw. If I didn't know anything else about these two candidates, it would be hard for me to make a voting decision based on this debate. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Thank goodness its over. I don't think I could stand another minute. Trump let it get out of control. Ok, Trump let himself get out of control in the second half hour. Hillary said nothing new. Good attacks with the same ammo. She got under his skin. Stuck in the knife and twisted it. Hillary had no actual answers. Just more smarmy nastiness. Trump had mainly his same talking points as rebutals. However, poorly delivered. Hillary wins the debate by being overly verbose. The media will anoint her Trump will not loose any of his supporters. |

On second thought, maybe Gary Johnson won by being excluded from that madness. What a sham. That's an hour of my life I won't get back. |

One thing Trump has brought up previously, is Stamina. But wasn't it Trump that looked tired and a little confused at the end. |

One thing Trump has brought up previously, is Stamina. Hillary looked like she had more "energy". The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

One thing Trump has brought up previously, is Stamina. He was a test subject for Viagra 50 years ago. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

30 years Hillary Clinton has been in charge of this country. 30 Years. If so then she was in charge of the greatest economic boom in America. Donald must think that marijuana is a legal relational drug in all 50 states. Seriously, sat in a restaurant with about 30 other random American Citizens watching the debate on a couple of big screens. 10 minutes in the debate was decided by the patrons. So many pants on fire by then, the rest of the time was spent just listening for the next pants on fire or refusal to answer because there was no answer. I didn't ask the 30 what party they belonged to but Faux News is frequently on one of the big screens. Far more often than CNN. Donald may have to contend with the possibility that when choosing the next president, Americans have a higher IQ than those that watch "reality TV." As to who won the debate, if you counted the times the audience in the hall reacted, you know who won and by how much. |

It was the same old crap we have been seeing for months if not years. Nothing new. No insight. Rather status quo. Like OP I say a tie but by default. Har! That makes everybody a winner with no losers except for us. LOL! ... |

Gary Johnson gave his take on the silly excuse for a debate Monday night. "I heard Donald Trump describing a country I don’t recognize, and I heard Hillary Clinton writing checks we can’t possibly cash. I have to say that I agree with his assesment. |

We deserve better, but what we saw [Monday night] was a promise that the bickering, the pandering and the polarization will continue. America is already great. It’s great leaders we are lacking, and I don’t think we found them on the stage [Monday night]. -- Gary Johnson I have to say that I agree with his assesment. Think that can be applied throughout the West unfortunately. Just sadly wondering when will it be time to pay the piper? |

An interesting analysis. I think it is a very revealing look at collusion between Hillary and Holt. Disgusting.....more corruption from the Queen of Corruption. Thanks for sharing that. Meowgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

An interesting analysis. Of course the "debates" are rigged... 1. They are not real Debates. (see Lincoln Douglas debates). 2. They are more like joint competitive press conferences. 3. They have rules restricting (usually by popularity in polls) eligability to participate. 4. Popularity in polls depends on exposure to the public in events such as the 'debates'. therefore: 5. The debates exist to help perpetuate the electoral dominance of the two 'major' parties. Much ado signifying nothing. Proposed solution: Using the Traditional Case Structure of the Lincoln-Douglas Debate format, hold a number of multi-day tournaments (each one on a different Case subject). Participants would be everyone that has qualified to be on the Presidential Ballot in at least one State. We would at least get an idea of the mental capacity of each candidate as they have to argue both sides of the case as the rounds progress. This solution might maybe make the Debates mean something. Now? The 'debates' are total crap. https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power. |

2. They are more like joint competitive press conferences. I agree. The question is though, how do we get back to a "real" Debate style? As you said, 5. The debates exist to help perpetuate the electoral dominance of the two 'major' parties. Much ado signifying nothing.Seems like the media and the two major party machines are in cahoots.
