Due to my mother's health, I have her on an absentee status so it makes voting easier. We just got the ballot, today.

I've never heard of Rocky Roque, or Evan McMullin. Never heard of the American Delta or the Forefathers party, either.

Goodness I just had a shot of the vapors.
It looked like there was party called the
"Straight Party". I was all a-flutter there
for a few seconds.

A better question would be which Parties are on the ballot for President in ALL 50 States (+ D.C.)?

To the best of my knowledge the list of those Parties are:

Democrats,
Republicans, and
Libertarians.

Many political Parties are on the ballot in only one State. On the latest list I have seen, the American Delta and the Forefathers parties don't even show up.

Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016.

Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power.

Ah. Good point. I didn't think about that. This is my home state Kentucky ballot, but I still have never heard of those two people or those parties.

Don't forget there is a write-in slot on all the ballots for all positions so it is open to all. You don't have to be on the ballot to win you just need get the most votes. Har! ;^)

So that is kinda mute. LOL!

We have our favorite write-in a local political watchdog.

I bet there will be more write-ins this year than ever before.

Likely will be. I, however, am quite happy with Johnson(L) for President, as well as other (L) candidates for lesser offices (Texas having (L) candidates for many if not most Congressional/Legislative offices as well as some offices in the Judicial branch in the Texas State Government.

Your mileage may vary, see store for details.

A bit surprised you haven't heard about McMullin.

Has he been discussed? I just draw a blank there.

Invalidated ballots, you mean. Only "qualified" persons names will be counted.

So the write-in means nothing? Why even give that option on the ballot?

Oh, I'm surprised I thought you could put in 'Rex the dog' and it would still count.

Every once in a while someone will show up with enough signatures on petitions to become "qualified" on some race for dogcatcher or some such and they need the space, so they just put it there out of habit, or the deadline to qualify is after the ballots are printed. Besides it lets the fools toss away their vote.

How come Clinton's middle name is given in full but Trump's isn't?

I couldn't vote for someone named after a fart!

It isn't.. Hillary Clinton's middle name is Diane, Rodham is her maiden name.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

He's a Republican and, IIRC, a Mormon from Utah. I won't guarantee this, but it smells like Romney and the never Trumpers trying to stop Utah from going to Clinton or Johnson.
