There is no reason for Trump not to release his tax records for all the years up to 2008, as the audit for these years must have been completed.

And other Presidents have disclosed some details of their tax returns while under audit, Nixon did it.
And he doesn't need to disclose all the nitty-gritty just the first two pages for each year would do.

And don't forget he is being hypocritical, again, as he was one of the ones demanding Obama release birth certificate and passport etc. in 2012.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgOq9pBkY0I
Which was a bit late the details had been released in 2008 and again in 2009 by the Hawaii State Department of Health, and the long form version was shown by the White House in 2011.

I'll say again I consider Trump a hypocritical criminal until you can prove otherwise. So far you have only shown opinion.
Time to improve your game.

When is he going to meet the same standards he demanded in 2012.

winternight

That felon hillary released her tax records.

Trump says, "None of your damn business." "They are currently under audit from the IRS." "I'll release them when the IRS is done with their audit."
[snip]

Really? The man that demanded Obama release his official birth certificate, won't release the official letter showing him to be subject of an IRS audit.

Even if Trump is being audited by the IRS, the IRS would not object to him releasing his tax returns:

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen wrote:
it would be fine for Trump to release returns during an audit
(source)
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Bobby we all know he won't do that because it will show many of his claims are pure lying BS including claims of charitable contributions. That is the only valid reason for his behavior in this situation.

An audit by the IRS has to be completed 3 years after submission.

But there are many special rules that can extend the purgatory.

First, the three years is doubled to six if you omitted more than 25% of your income.
It’s also doubled if you omitted more than $5,000 of foreign income.
Even worse, the IRS has no time limit if you never file a return. The three years never starts to run.

So the onus is on Donald.
Did he submit late?
Did he miss out income?
Did he fail to include foreign earnings?
Did he miss more than one of the above?

For any of the above, you have to, at least ask why, and if you don't get a reasonable answer.
What are most people going to assume?
That he has or is hiding something is the most obvious reason, therefore his honesty has to be questionable.

So it would seem that the most criminal is Trump.

Unless of course you can prove otherwise.

WinterKnight...

Most?

As if it is preferable having a Murderer living next door, than a Rapist?

See The Problem?

Live next door to a murderer. possibly dead. Live next door to a rapist, rapist could be killed by potential victim in self-defense.
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

A lot of you all here are totally missing the issue.

It is NOT Trump vs. Clinton...

It IS Trump & Clinton vs. the Constitutional Rule of Law.

Both Trump & Clinton have some rather serious issues with the above concept, as do a great many U.S. Citizens.

Johnson(L) in 2016!

Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016.

Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power.

MK...

Understanding the best Candidate doesn't always win.

Which States, and their Total Electoral Vote, would Johnson win?

How does he realistically win a majority of Electoral votes?

I do not like Clinton or Trump. Both make me want to puke.
Id really like the lame stream media give some time to Johnson. But they will not.
They want Clinton to win to save us all.

I will more than likely vote for him ( And waste a vote ) Than the two bozo's who get the nasty trash talking points.
I will say I'm pretty damn disgusted on how both partys are running for president.

It's true that he has not released his tax records. As for your other assertions--you are not seeing or reading the correct media. Trump got out of the draft on the old flat feet ploy--actually bone spurs in both heels. Prior to that he had deferments due to being a student in college and grad school. In those days you could get an exemption from the draft by getting married or having a "critical" skill such as a master's degree in electrical engineering. When I went in the Army they sent me to a laboratory rather than to Viet Nam.

He also held a news conference where he detailed all of several dozen charities and the amounts given to each. Some of these checks were recently written when the aggregate amount given was called into question by the media. I suspect also that he does not want the tax returns to be seen by the hyenas in the media. He probably has contributed not just to charities but to left-wing democrats as well. Net worth is not determined from a tax filing only income and losses.

He has got out of the draft on the bone spur excuse but as yet no one has seen the actual medical record, so still questionable.

His college report or qualifications have also not been seen, yes he got a degree, but at what level? And for part of what has been seen he only attended some undergrad classes, with no indication he was tested or passed those classes.

On Charity donations, ignore his claims, most of what he has given are the "in kind" variety at his clubs, hotels and golf courses. Therefore given by his companies, not by him personally.
Several news sources have made inquires into his charity donations and we get headlines like this.
Newsexaminer - Donald Trump: The Least Charitable Billionaire In The World
WP - Five questions we still can’t answer about Donald Trump’s charity donations

You realise he is not the largest donator to his own Foundation, don't you.

So if you have evidence of his donations, and that does not include the donations to veterans he organised when missing a televised republican debate, then please post them. I'm sure others would like to see them as well, and we could also send those links to the press so you can get them off Donald's back as well.

So being a Canadian you won't have to make the excruciating choice between these two miscreants. If it's any consolation, i wouldn't have voted for your infamous Mayor of Toronto nor that wanker, Mulroney (the elder).

I have lost track of my friends in Don Mills and Etobicoke as well as all the Ottawa Labbies so I can't get a reading on Canadian Politics from my old circle of friends. On my frequent trips to the NORTH I miss reading the Globe and Mail and buying good booze at duty-free prices. Northern Telecom went Belly-up and took a lot of pension funds with it--I presume that you still have Bell Canada.

Trump should start a foundation--don't you think. Those that donate can potentially become ambassadors to Barundi or the like if he gets elected.

For this being a thread about 'Hell'ary, there sure is a LOT of chatter about the Don. I said it before, neither is worthy of a vote.

Peace! :)

Hillary Clinton FBI interview notes to be released to Congress

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are expected to receive notes from Hillary Clinton's interview with the FBI about her use of private email servers as secretary of state, CBS News has confirmed.

The FBI will turn over the notes to Congress in the next few days, and it could happen as early as Monday, an official told CBS. This comes after several Republicans requested the testimony.

When Comey was asked whether Clinton broke any laws, his answer was “My judgment is that she did not.” In other words, he didn’t indict her because there was nothing to indict her on. It’s not that he said there wasn’t enough to indict her on. He flat out said that she didn’t break any laws to begin with.

When Comey was asked whether Hillary Clinton lied or misled the investigation in any way, his answer was “We have no basis to conclude she lied to the FBI.” Once again, this is direct confirmation that absolutely no legal wrongdoing took place. She broke no laws. She was entirely truthful with investigators. There is no other way of interpreting his words. And he was under oath at the time; if he’d given anything other than direct answers, he could have been prosecuted for it.
