Ever since I switched from stock to Lunatics it really felt like my productivity lapsed on my more dedicated cruncher that runs 12-hrs/weekdays and 24-hrs/weekends.

I installed flush my tasks queue on the 12th and when it was empty I installed lunatics on the 15th (cuda50 on GTX 780).

As I watched my RAC decline I tried a few things (high priority for the CUDA tasks at first, then 2 tasks at once, and now more recently the GUPPI rescheduler).

I'm not sure if it's safe to say that the cuda50 app is just slower on this card or if there has been more GUPPI coming my way in recent weeks. I'll keep monitoring over the next while.

As I watch the task queue I'm wondering if there will be a problem keeping dual-GPUs fed with non-guppi tasks -- my main workstation seems to somewhat hungry for them and I fear that if I run the rescheduler often enough it'll eventually starve.

Under the default settings the Open_CL_SoG application outperforms the CUDA50 application. There are settings that allow the CUDA50 application to perform about on par for Aricebo WUs- however the fact is when it comes to Guppies, the SoG application performs much, much better. With some help from Mike, i'd expect you could get the SoG application to perform even better.

From around 2 weeks after the intro of MB V8, which was when I got my 3570K rig crunching again after waiting 8 weeks for a replacement RMA'd hard drive to arrive, I kicked it off running pure stock using 3 CPU cores and doing a single task on each GTX 660.

That went from around a 3K RAC to 28.8K in the 2nd week of April. Since then it has done nothing, but go down. For the last week it has been sitting around 17K and is still running stock, but until I can get 6 weeks of a near stable RAC I won't be able to if it's hit bottom. Once I can get a stable RAC I'll be doing same as you have.

You would think that after 7 months of this that I've have something near a stable RAC so don't be so disappointed by what you are seeing, just think about how I feel, that rig had a stable 38K RAC running Lunatics and doing 3 CPU tasks with 3 tasks on each 660. ;-)

Cheers.
