While I have maintained my resolve not to view any thread the has Mr HumanRights, ElCepo or WW as the author I can tell that not all of have that same resolve. I can see the topic posts count rising..

As long as one of the regulars on this forum respond to his dribble you are enabling him.

Lets practice what we preach folks.. Ignore him completely.. Words that nobody but the dribblers see can not hurt you...

If you truly need someone to rant on then my shoulders are broad enough to handle it... Leave the "I demand attention" people to their own devices. Don't even bother looking at their threads...

Sob! I admit to falling from grace and reacting to his posts....

I once more vow to refrain from doing so!

But he's such a prick!

Ok, no more!

I'm with you.

Oh, but were you? I have had him on ignore since yesterday, yet saw his new post and just peeked in, to find I could read it. So it's a new account he has. Also plonked now. ;)

I bet you know what I'm going to say :)

> As long as one of the regulars on this forum respond to his dribble you are

What happens when a newbie reads his messages and gets caught in the trap? Do we then post to these threads or all keep our resolve and let the newbies learn the hard way or worse leave without the benefit of our knowledge..

The post subjects are designed to capture the unwitting...

It could be argued that destroying the continuity of those threads is also a valid method... though I do agree we should not get caught up in what are after all spoof subjects aimed at attacking and abusing us rather than enhancing the community at large.

> Lets practice what we preach folks.. Ignore him completely.. Words that nobody

OK but if I practice what I preach then the "we" in that is really your (and others) approach...

> If you truly need someone to rant on then my shoulders are broad enough to
> handle it... .....

Now that's an offer... but I like the idea of annoying the trolling attention seeking misionaries more.... though I also reserve the right to ignore anything aimed at being damaging where ignoring it has a benefit.

Actually I'm quite humbled as Rachel is showing a third (or first) way.. by creating and keeping up top interesting and inviting topics that have nothing to do with trolls...

now that is the kind of positive action that grabs my interest though I still reserve the right to annoy the trolls until their heads explode :).

Everytime it posts I have this uncontrolable urge to share some of my
Sci-Fi art with him. Sorry dial up users.
However, it does seem to work.

Also, Rachel has been a sweet heart as well. THX

Many times just to get rid of the 'new post' icon I right click, open in new window, then immediately scrollwheel click (close window). While it does up the thread view by one it gets rid of the icon (weeding thru a screenful of those is a pain) and I never had to look at the thread.
