Hi I need to repurpose a system which is running set@home under boing. I want to allow all the current work units to complete before shutting down the system. How do I do this please? I've searched this forum with various search strings but have not turned up anything relevant. TIA Chris |

In BOINC Manager, under the Projects tab, select your project (or all of them), then click on the No New Tasks button. |

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately this running on a Raspberry Pi 3 and I seem to remember that it was a pig to build boincmgr so I don't have that facility. Is there any CLI way of doing this? Presumably the No New Tasks button will modify a script or config file somewhere. Thanks Chris |

BOINCCMD is the CLI tool to use, not sure if you have it in your custom build. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Boinccmd_tool BOINCCMD --project URL operation e.g. BOINCCMD --project setiathome.berkeley.edu NoMoreWork Repeat for each project. |

Thanks OzzFan. That worked but I had to change the command to nomorework i.e. no capitals. Thanks again. |

Interesting. The original documentation doesn't have capitals, but most command line arguments are not case sensitive unless otherwise specified. Thanks for the feedback. |
