An attacker has allegedly killed one woman and injured two people in the city of Reutlingen in southwest Germany, according to local media. The police reportedly confirmed that the man had been arrested.

An "explosive device" blew up in the center of the German city of Ansbach, killing one person and injuring 10 others, the city's mayor told local media early Monday.

Mayor Carda Seidel was quoted by Munich's Focus magazine as saying that the explosion late Sunday night was near the entrance to an open-air music festival.

Police in Ansbach said a man was killed when an explosive device he was believed to be carrying went off.

Ansbach police said in a statement early Monday that just after 10 p.m. Sunday they were alerted to an explosion in the city center.

They said that "a man, according to our current knowledge the perpetrator, died" in the blast.

At least 13 people were killed when two vehicles packed with explosives went off as they were driven towards a base for African Union troops in the Somali capital, according to officials and witnesses.

The first blast happened near an entrance to the base, which is beside Mogadishu's main airport, and the second at a nearby checkpoint manned by Somali government forces.

The man who injured two police officers are known to the police earlier - but not for terror crimes.
Both officers are anesthetized and their injuries require surgery.
Daesh has claimed responsibility for it.

Quetta hospital bombing: Pakistan Taliban claim attack

A faction of the Pakistani Taliban has said it carried out a suicide bombing that killed at least 70 people at a hospital in the city of Quetta.

The attacker targeted a crowd that had gathered as the body of a prominent lawyer murdered earlier on Monday, Bilal Kasi, was being brought in.

Lawyers and journalists were among the dead. About 120 people were injured.
