I have two boxes that need to send WU's back and I keep getting this

couldnt read master page for seti@home: error-1
master file fetch failed
deferring communication for 1 week,5 days,16......

then I do a manual update I get this

couldnt read master page for seti@home: error-113
master file fetch failed
deferring comm. for 1 week,5 days,3....
can't resolve hostname seti@home.berkley.edu(hostname.


Anybody?

This exact thing happened to me today for both Predictor and Seti. I shut down Boinc, restarted, and it worked fine

The 113 error will pop up when you boxes cannot get throught your firewall. Double check your firewall setting for those boxes. You can try to ping the server as Paul and SirUlli have shown.
