God Bless this USA.
And may we always remember those who gave their lives that we should continue to be free.

Our heritage was bought and paid for with the blood of our military sons and daughters. So, whilst we celebrate our freedom, please do not forget how it came to be so.

Speaking as the son of my father, who was born to his German immigrant parents, and sitting in the house that they built after years of struggle to make this land their home. They have passed away, but they passed on to me their pride of living in this country.

I often ponder what gave me the opportunity to enjoy the life I live.
And more than once, have tried to express my gratitude to those who sacrificed everything so that I am able to live life as a free man.

And I shall do it again right now.

Thank you, all who have and are now serving this great nation.
You are all too often forgotten by some, but not by me.

One nation, under GOD.
Who blesses you all.

No fireworks here where I live at, too hot and dry, even though it's legal to sell and use fireworks in Barstow CA, outside of Barstow in the County of San Bernardino fireworks are banned, why? Everything is tinder dry...

I did see some fireworks in War Commander, I'd click on the go-go bar, and fireworks would shoot on to the screen, that bar is see how well the base would stand up to an attack or to attract enemy forces, like into a trap.

We have fireworks. This is my first 4th in over 40 years in a city. The fireworks started 2 days ago, and tonight it has been non stop since about 8:30 and still going strong for almost 2 hours. Not just one show, but everywhere. There are shows 360 degrees around me. Disney to the North of me, City of Santa Ana to the South, show to the east and west. Some are directly overhead, plus tons of big skyrockets from homes, the river, the golf course, and every park. I have never seen anything like this. Car alarms going off. I see bursts from my desk, my bedroom, the living room and deck. Crazy!

I know and there are more of them this year than in many years. Seems people have money to burn again. Being next to the mountains I only have 180 degrees of it, but then the canyons amplify the echos. Near work, East LA it started about 2 weeks ago with firecrackers. Then at home solid over the weekend. It finally got quiet enough to get some z's about 11:30 but they were still at it. Don't know when it ended. I expect a bit more tonight as they light off their left overs.
