The best thing about the disco era was the bass lines.
Rock the freakin' cabinets offa the floor.
Not to the extent that some do these days.
The bass was not meant to occupy or overwhelm the entire tune to the point where that is all you can hear. Some crap these days goes over the edge.

Here is a good example of bass playing up front, but not overwhelming.

You all know my love of Joan Jett.
We were close once.

I did not have such close ties to Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood.
Mick hates me to this day for how close I came.
He shall never speak to me again. Stevie might, if I were so bold as to try to reconnect. I am not at this point, willing to do that. It would open old wounds that at my age, I may not heal from.
God alone shall deal with me and my life. And you might agree, it has been an exceptional one. One which I would not trade for eternal life.

And, Lori is not even ready to deal with this..Jett was bad enough. I cannot put her through another past flame.

I WAS in attendance at some pretty wild events between the two of them, which I am not allowed legal liberty to describe here and now. Litigation and such.

However, I am totally free to share some rather private moments which are universally available on the tube.
Although not seen often.

To spend one day with my first love. As I recall her.

Mary Ann Theresa Karen Hendricks. That was her name.
I was 17, she was 21. Life changed for me the day I met her.
Never been the same since.
This came about after I met JJ. So, there was some time allowed inbetween.

She ran off on me to places unknown. Her parents would not tell me anything. I think she ran off to California. I tried for years, but she hid herself very well. I never was able to get back to her. We might me married with children if I had been able to. You might not even know me now.
And I might never have become a Setizen.

The thing is.................I could be from kpax.
None of you has offered proof that I am not.
You can trace my internet comms just so far and then I go poof.

Theoretical possibleties are so wonderful the entertain.

Walked out and had some good conversations with my neighbors on all sides of my house this morning, with my Kilburn in tow playing some tunes. All smiled at and with me. Our township is trying to play some games with our properties and the tax base, and we are not playing along....

Point is..
The kittyman is a real man, and has a home, and a life, and physical thingys that you may ignore at times when he presents his onlife personna.

I have to make a living, pay taxes, and keep the lawn mowed, even with my busted right heel. I am also entitled, by my extensive history and dedicated work here on the project to have a little more to say than some.
And I can take my naysayers, which are few but vocal, and put them way back in the mix. Just as I could do with a bad sax player when in my younger years as a sound engineer.

If I ever would plan my demise.
And I know, I have postured over the years...but the fact that it has been over years should tell ya something...LOL.

You would be the first to know.

I would first have to find a place where I knew the kitties would be taken care of. Safe, well cared for and loved.

I would then have to have a long talk with Lori. She has been my guiding light for so many years since I saved her. Would not be proper to leave without telling her I was going. And she, having been through all that SHE has, would without a doubt, talk me out of leaving the scene.

Lastly, I would have to deal with the crunchers. I would, even if I were leaving, not wish to have this much computing power leave the project.
It would take a knowing soul, with computer expertise, to continue what I have done here for years.
You could not just pack up the crunchers, transport them to another place, and expect then to pick up where they left off. Some of my computers have very unique souls, and need special attention to regain their confidence once their power is cut off.

And right now, only I know their little thingys.

So rest well for now, kitties and kittyettes.
I am not in danger...Kids, I am the one who knocks.
