Just got this from our Kind Master Credit New: 4986684017 2185494897 15 Jun 2016, 3:11:05 UTC 16 Jun 2016, 11:07:58 UTC Completed and validated 6.90 2.31 483.00 AstroPulse v7 Anonymous platform (NVIDIA GPU) What - is CN feeling guilty for all the crap it has been giving (or NOT giving) us crunchers? |

Even more startling, and making even less sense, my wingman on this WU had numbers of 3.07 0.90 483.00 !!! |

it's a 100% blanked work unit. If I remember correctly, you need a certain number of validated work units before it establishes a correct credit for your system AstroPulse v7 (anonymous platform, NVIDIA GPU) Number of tasks completed 7 Max tasks per day 45 Number of tasks today 0 Consecutive valid tasks 12 Average processing rate 849.79 GFLOPS Average turnaround time 1.04 days I'm probably remembering this wrong. |

This has been happening for a long time (years). |

If I remember correctly, you need a certain number of validated work units before it establishes a correct credit for your system I've seen this mentioned more than once in the forums. But of course, I can't locate those posts now. I'm fairly certain that the number is 11. |

it's a 100% blanked work unit. The certain number is either 10 or 11, and that is for server-side execution elapsed TIME estimates so your local BOINC can do proper scheduling and also work requests. And WHY would a 100% blanked WU get >>0 credits? CN is supposed to be SO smart about giving credit for actual work done across all the diverse platforms here in SETI-land, and certainly not do gross giveaways (not that I'm complaining - there's a whole lot of catchin' up to do...). |

11 And must be 10% or less blanked? Cheers. |

11 . . So how does the "blanked" fit in? Does that mean the percentage of the processed sample with no signal components? |

11 It's a reference to Astropulse tasks only. Portions of the datafile are skipped if the signal recorder indicates that the nearby pulsed radar stations - civilian or military - were active during the time we were listening for a different sort of broadband pulses. |
