Recently I relocated NV GTX 260 from very unstable host into APU-based one.
Unfortunately this disabled embedded APU's GPU. So all AMD GPU tasks now in "Waiting, GPU missing" state.

Maybe is it possible to enable both devices?
I tried to attach monitor to both - no help.
mobo is MSI's A75MA one, OS is Windows Server 2008 x64.
Reinstalled AMD VISION Engine Control Center lists only NV card under System information/hardware...
[Under display adapters in Device Manager also only NV card listed]

What Settings are in the BIOS for this?
If there is no Enable / Disable APU look for "Shared RAM"
Set Shared RAM to fixed (e.g. 512 MB) and not to Auto

Depends on BIOS, I have Asus A88X-PLUS and I have both, Ati APU and Nvidia cards running on this host

In BIOS there should be something like Integrated Graphics Devices -> Force or something like that.

Unfortunately, the single BIOS option about video is:
Integrated Graphics Devices Configuration
with single param:
Initiate Graphic Adapter [PEG]
and even this one is greyed (unselectable and unchangeable).
That's issue with this particular mobo.

I had the same with a Dell Optiplex - GPU or iGPU, not both at once.

Downloaded your manual from http://www.manualslib.com/download/820182/Msi-Fm2-A55m-E35-Ser-Ies.html, but it didn't help.

Page 16 of that manual says it supports dual graphics, but go to the amd website to find the supported combinations.

http://www.amd.com/en-us/innovations/software-technologies/technologies-gaming/dual-graphics

Seems to suggest it only supports certain AMD cards with the graphics from the igpu enabled as a sort of crossfire.

Thanks for links and comments.

It seems that I need another AMD-only GPU indeed :/

Currently, AMD Radeonâ„¢ Dual Graphics is supported on the AMD A-Series APUs in conjunction with select AMD Radeonâ„¢ R7 series and AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 6000 series graphics cards used under the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.

Not the right OS also...

Well, will try to find "better home" for NV GTX260 then :)

That is true. Windows Server 2008 is the same level as Windows Vista.
