Must be the response of Scarecrow's servers. Anyway... Had commented about OT at the firetruck factory. Doing a lot of it lately. The one neat thingy about Friday OT days is that the company allows radios or other implements of musical destruction during those OT hours. A month or two ago, I invested in an iPod touch 1.3Gb and a Marshall Kilburn speaker/amp. It does indeed lessen the load a bit when I can listen to some of my classic and some not-so-classic tunes during working those long OT hours. The Kilburn has wonderful sound......and can run for a long time on battery power. It ran all day today for 8 hours full bore and the battery light did not even come on. The iPod battery has far less stamina, and I was able to tether it to a power receptacle to keep it going. Got a charger thingy and a ten foot cable for it on ebay for a few bucks each. Worked like a charm. Had good rockin' all day.... Have a couple of external batteries ordered from China....some 100000mah capacity. Will see how those work out. Meowrockin'.
