There are a few things I should say, I think............here and now.
Best come huddle around the crunchers to listen....kinda like an old radio talk show.

Ya know.........I have been sitting here stewing for a while and I have come to some conclusions.

Most of you are self serving, and care not much about me. Mind you, there are some who most definately do.

You take the chance when I fail and jump on it like a bitch in heat. (Quote from Law Abiding Citizen court scene.)

I am far too outspoken, my bad, I guess. But that is what most people here know me for. Going back 16 years. I always said my peace. And then some.

I am not going to be taken aback from this project just due to my treatment in the forums. Just the backside.


In the next week or two.......kids. And I hope this is significant to at least a few of you out there.


I shall become the 2nd highest contributor to this project in it's history in terms of work done and credit granted. All time credits earned.
Second only to one who commandeered a server network.


And I did it @home...with my own computers. With my own electricity costs, and with the help of many donors of hardware to my cause. They saw my conviction, and supported it by sending me hardware to accomplish it.

Not by injecting Seti code into a bank of servers.
I see little self pride in that.

I and the kitties, two of whom have passed since I started this project, have built the computers I run from scratch, and babied them through some bad times, and have done my best.

I have some anger over my treatment and misunderstanding here at times, and I realize that some you have the same over my behavior here at times.

But I hope that some of you also, can realize what conviction I have had for this project over the years and forgive me my loud mouth at times.

Above all, Seti has been my life since I was about 48yo. I am 59 now.
I hope to live to 100 or more, or at least until we find what we are searching for. Best be prepared.............Grumpy old men............

Personally i think that this thread should be closed.

As a community we know that we have members who do not intend to do harm but who over-step the mark.

As a community we get to know each other and can rein in each other.

I think it really peculiar that the originator of a thread who may be deamed to be unwell or difficult (yet is known) should have all their post deleted or hidden yet responses shown.

I would like all my posts to this thread to be deleted.

More than that i would like the whole thread to be deleted.

Morally I can see no reason to embarrass a fellow human whatever their issues.
