Alex when people start having a go at your spelling or grammer it shows there the small minded person .

Lots of reason people may not have good spelling or grammer from English not a first language Dislexia and even bad eye sight or problems with typing don't worry about the grumpy old sod !

So you are saying it is fine to hurry your post when your thoughts, meaning and spelling are not fully formed and exhibit that to the public at large so they can think you a fool. Gosh, that sounds a lot like the Donald Trump school of politics.

I wonder, if England would go out, a new United Republic of Scotland and Northern Ireland would stay in, then what might Wales do in such a situation?

Don't know the answer to that question , i've already voted but the polls are next Thursday so wait till the polls have closed and the votes counted .
I don't know what way the country will decide but think it will be close either way

You sound like - -

"Blah blah" and throwing around nonsense are your contributions to this thread.

You'd think that, and you'd be right... But for the wrong reasons.

I thought I was replying to Sten. Now I'm sure Sten thinks I'm a hippie or smthg but he's got a sense of humor and doesn't appear to be a Schoebbels groupie. IOW he may have found the Blahblahblah/Diego joke mildly amusing.

When I realized it was you... well I thought about adding an edit along the lines of: "Crap! I accidently trolled the troll" but for some stupid reason decided against it. Damn.

So I'm suckered in. Again.
Here goes nothing. Again.

---------------------------------

Snark, I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess your German. And your taking this personally.

(Now I know a had the same trouble with Michiel but damn, that kid was capable of punching well above his weight. He was one of the most logical people here and his logic only really ever broke down when he was talking to me. Never figured out why I had that effect on him. The more I tried to fix it the worse I made it. Hopefully he'll be back one day...)

Anyway. You're not a Michiel. You've got one brush in your arsenal and it's insanely broad. Greeks bad. Germans good. Brexit bad. Varoufakis bad. etc.

However it's "Schauble uber alles" even though he's the only pr*ck to have taken - not content with a fakelaki which is for amateurs but - a suitcase full of cash. From an arms dealer.

Dude. WTF?

Now, for my own amusement I may do a slice'n'dice of Schoebbels uncharacteristically boring interview. I doubt it'll help with your reading comprehension though... You seem to think if someone sounds rational then they are going to go out and do "the rational". If you believe anything coming out of Schoebbels mouth well...

I've got a bridge to sell you.

Noooo! Well not unless you have a humorless alter-ego I don't know about ;)

I thought you started the THREAD (my f'n brain got stuck - mixed up the nicknames for some stupid reason)

:(

So I replied to the link thinking I was replying to you...

After I posted my FIRST post in this thread I realized what I had done.

But it was too late and I only have myself to blame :)

Well my postal ballot never arrived. I wonder if this sort of thing is deliberate to prevent us from voting.

Even with dual nationality, and an entry in the electoral roll it's not a given that a person can vote. I've let my entry lapse since becoming a US citizen, though, even if I had not, I would not have been able to participate in the EU referendum (having been resident overseas for more than 15 years), at least that's what this says:

Section 2 provides for who is entitled to vote in the referendum. Under subsection (1)(a) a person is entitled to vote in the referendum if, on the date of the referendum, he or she would be entitled to vote at a parliamentary election. That is British, Irish and Commonwealth citizens over the age of 18 who are resident in the United Kingdom, and British nationals resident overseas for less than 15 years, provided they appear on the register of Parliamentary electors.

Where "Section 2" refers to the European Referendum Act 2015.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Usually, we could say so. But here, Es99 clearly wishes to vote, trusted she can do so, but is experiencing a letdown. Not her fault, apparently.

My Auntie has lived in the U.S.A since 1978 and she get's a vote for the general elections but she has not got a vote for this referendum so it's not just Es . Dont go making out it is

He said: "That sort of a concept that the UK still might have a common market with the EU afterwards is in my opinion a pure illusion."
He was echoing the views of German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schauble, that "in is in and out is out".

The EU is governed by vindictive bastards who would rather drink sewage to get revenge rather than advance their own self interests.

How to do you figure on "disintegrate"?

Herr Schauble has been screaming that OUT is OUT & that we'll not have access to the single market.

Okay as a resident of Britain let's party!!!

As we'll be out & Europe imports more than what we export, just bump up the import tariffs.

Pretty sure that the Eurozone economies will take a massive hit especially as the poorer nations of the zone still haven't fully recovered from the global mess of 2008...

...& as for Germany, just watch their big corporations scream at their politicians...

...let's party :-)

Tomorrow the Britons will choose their destiny. In or out. Hang together or disintegrate.

Do you mean that if we leave the UK will "disintegrate" or that the EU will.

If the latter then I do feel that might overall just be a good thing.

Oh, you're on about German Lebensraum again. That idea didn't die in 1945, did it?
Now I understand your posts, and where you're coming from.
.
.
.
And the whole idea behind the EU, of course....

Future historians will prove that the biggest mistake of our times was reuniting Germany.
