I wish 'Daesh' would become the universal word used. A universally excepted label for a common enemy. Actually France are already using the word "Daesh" instead of ISIS. http://www.france24.com/en/20140917-france-switches-arabic-daesh-acronym-islamic-state I think everybody should call them for what they are! Hmm. The man pictured in the article is Tarkhan Batirashvili AKA Omar the Chechen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V7dVuJELHM Well he is dead now... Allahu Akbar:) |

Afghanistan. 60 killed by Daesh! This isn't exactly new.... The Sunni and the Shiite have been fighting (and killing) each other since the Battle of Siffin... July 26-28, 657 A.D. Reportedly, out of around a total of 200,000 combatants, 70,000 dead. https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power. |

Are terrorists today only muslims? At least 12 persons have been shot dead in a attack on a market in the Indian state of Assam in the northeast part of the country, according to the authorities, reports CNN. A Christian terrorist group is believed to be the perpetrators. http://edition.cnn.com/2016/08/05/asia/attackers-kill-12-at-indian-market/index.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Democratic_Front_of_Bodoland |

Are terrorists today only muslims? And what priorities are those Clyde? To create even greater threats for the future than those that your country, under previous administrations, has already created? Clyde, you confess to being a history teacher at 1 stage in your life and you like to quote, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.", so tell me why that, up until the Obama regime, your country has been constantly repeating the mistakes that other empires of the past have made in the past, and all just since WWII? Other countries/empires took centuries just to invent all those mistakes to start with you know. Just another case of "Pete repeat" mentality maybe? Also why do a lot of U.S. citizens always automatically connect those being socialists to being the same as those who are communists? Or is it that you just can't understand the difference of others just wanting to get along with each other and not that of controlling resources plus each other? Now don't squirm Clyde, just answer these simple questions without your usually stupid rhetoric (or just plain ignoring them as you tend to want to) so that everyone here can understand them and you. I won't hold my breath while waiting for sensible answers from you either as I know that you'll just reply in your usual gibberish fashion anyway. Cheers. |

Greetings, Sheesh. I bit of a synopsis would go a long way rather than just posting a link. My curiosity is not piqued enough to just click a random link in a post. Greetings, Yeah, Associated Press (AP) is a bit random, I mean they're only one of the largest news agencies. "Sheesh" indeed. For those that are click shy, the first paragraph of the article linked by Gary is: KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- A brazen, hours-long militant attack on the American University of Afghanistan ended early Thursday after at least 13 people were killed and dozens wounded in the assault on the sprawling campus on Kabul's outskirts, a government spokesman said. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |
