My latest laptop http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=8011400[url] is my first with GPU and certainly crunches the WUs but I keep getting Notices to update the driver. Two searches on the net have got me nowhere even quoting to relevant number NVIDIA NVS 3100M.
Can someone point me in the right direction please or give me the URL? Or is the machine too old for this?

Well, did a quick search on Nvidia's site for a notebook Win7 64 bit NVS 3100M driver, and the latest one came back with Quadro Desktop/Quadro Notebook Driver Release 340.

No promises that it will work as expected, but there is the link to get you started at least. You'll have to read up on the notes for that and other drivers, to determine which one would be best for your situation.

George, most welcome, as I get so much help from everyone here, I always try to help when I can, though sometimes I'm off a little, but if I know it, I'll show (share) it so to speak. :-)

Did you find a driver that ended up working for your laptop?
