Muhammad Ali, the three-time heavyweight champion boxer whose electrifying prowess in the ring and controversial outspokenness outside of it made him one of the world’s most recognizable personalities of the 20th Century, has died. He was 74.

He was the most complete boxer to ever be in the ring. Yes other boxers had more power. maybe speed, power of the punch. maybe fancy footwork. But Muhammad Ali had all of them to a very high degree.

I was anti war and have alway been into non-violence. Although I am familiar with his name I knew nothing about him. Boxing was something that I avoided and any news about a boxer was ignored. Sorry I did that. It seems that he was much more than a boxer. RIP Mr Ali. I wish I had known your other side.
