Hi everyone! I noticed that after upgrading my Nvidia drivers to the latest version, some SETI@home applications (specifically, v8 v8.12 opencl_nvidia_SoG windows_intelx86) will start but sit there without progressing (at 0.001% according to BOINC) until I manually go in and abort the task. I also reviewed a GPU usage graph, and found that beyond an initial spike in activity for a brief moment after the task starts, it otherwise does absolutely nothing - not on the CPU, nor on the GPU. So far, I've not noted any problems with any other applications from SETI@home, or from other GPU-enabled BOINC projects that I also compute for. Is this a problem on my end, or a bug in the task? If it's the former, is there some way to tell the project servers to not assign me any tasks for the specific application that's failing? I'm running on a Nvidia GT 555M in an Optimus configuration, with driver version 368.22. I hope this is the right place to bring this up, and thanks in advance for any assistance! |

Hello, I got exactly the same problem than FastLizard4 i.e. Window 7/64, Nvidia driver update to 368.39, SETI@home v8 8.12 (opencl_nvidia_SoG) is starting properly till around 1% then hangs showing 0.001% Should we report this somewhere else ? |
