Nvidia gtx 650 latest drivers does not get detected. The first thing I noticed is that the gpu vendor nvidia/amd is not in my preferences any more & my log shows 5/16/2016 6:42:40 PM | SETI@home | Not requesting tasks: don't need (CPU: job cache full; NVIDIA GPU: ) There was a "no gpu found" in the log which has disappeared and replaced with 5/16/2016 6:18:10 PM | | CUDA: NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce GTX 650 (driver version 364.72, CUDA version 8.0, compute capability 3.0, 1024MB, 813MB available, 813 GFLOPS peak) The gpu was detected and working with older 7.6.9 which also stopped working. Restart BOINC and post the first 40-50 lines from Event Log (Ctrl+Shift+E) Check/adjust: 1) Computing preferences Store at least 3 days of work Store up to an additional 0.1 days of work (If you use Local preferences - make this change there (or revert to web Preferences)) 2) SETI@home preferences Use NVIDIA GPU [v] 3) Do not use Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) or Fast user switching https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_Desktop_Protocol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fast_user_switching  - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)  |
