Ok, thanks, learned something new today, project can be down but board is up. Any thoughts on why it killed a number of tasks? If you think it might be related to the rescheduler, I can post it on that thread. |

Al, yes it is related to the rescheduler. I replied in that thread too. I am having these kind of issues for a while now on only one machine. My offending app is the AP CPU app. I get discarded tasks upon restart of the machine afer a reschedule. I've posted a reply to both of you in the Rescheduler thread. tl;dr I'd suggest that you don't use the rescheduler if you have AP tasks in your cache, until Mr. Kevvy has had a chance to consider and respond to these comments. |

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that the pfb or Arecibo splitters have been disabled or not running for a few hours now. SSP is current and Arecibo tapes are loaded, just not doing anything. I wonder if this has anything to do with the brief interruption in project availability today. Anyone have news? The pfb splitters are still down. My machines have caches full of GUPPIs, with only a few Arecibo tasks at the top. Soon now... |

I also found it rather odd that even with the WOW event going on, V8 tasks received in the last hour has dropped to 66,719? Maybe due to those pfb splitters not running? "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Not really something to panic over, but with the V7 jobs in the wild down to zero, I notice that there still are 71 v7 "Results waiting for db purging". Someone should probably look into that, so that all the V7 programs can be deleted. That someone should also check that a similar accumulation isn't growing on the v8 db purge queue... . Was able to contact Jeff. He said he'd look into why the pfb splitters were not working. Meow. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

And Jeff responded that it was some kind of left over stop-splitter file from a previous round of trouble shooting. We should have pfb splitters back online shortly. Meow! EDIT.... And they are back! "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I was lucky to be able to reach Jeff so quickly, and that it was an easy problem to fix. Not so lucky in getting my little green star to reignite.... Meow! "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I was lucky to be able to reach Jeff so quickly, and that it was an easy problem to fix. My star hasn't reignited either, and I made a donation the day before you did. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

I was lucky to be able to reach Jeff so quickly, and that it was an easy problem to fix. The donation has also not shown up in the list on my main account page, nor did I get the usual confirmation email. I just made another small donation, just in case I bungled my email addy....we'll see if that works. Otherwise, I'll have to dig into it further. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." My results are the same as yours. No email confirmation, and it isn't showing up on my account page. I did download the pdf confirmation, which I have at home. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

Well, the green star, once reset, lasts a year. So I would not expect to see that go away. Will hang tight until Monday, if no activity by then I'll summon some help to look into it. EDIT... On second thought, I just made a request for somebody to help. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I also see this bit of broken Boinc code when viewing my donations from my home page...........have reported this as well. Below is a list of all the donations you have personally made to SETI@home since September 1, 2005. Unless you select otherwise, if you donated more than $10 in the last year an icon () will show up next to your user name anywhere it appears on our site. Your user name would also appear in donor lists we may present on our web site in the future. You can change the anonymity of these donations individually* by selecting the appropriate checkboxes below and clicking on "Update". In my case, with a current star displayed, I get a single instance of Notice: Undefined index: 6 in /disks/carolyn/b/home/boincadm/projects/sah/html/seti_boinc_html/user_donation.php on line 79 above a seemingly-complete list on that page. I'll find out more on the anniversary of my current star - 9 September. |

I do get the donation list as well, with the exception of the ones I made yesterday and today. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
