Greetings

Anybody out there who has upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS managed to get their card and boinc working together.

FGLRX support no longer supported in that version.

I've just succeeded in installing a Sapphire HD 7770 on my Linux box running SuSE Linux Leap 42.1. I downloaded the driver from SuSE, after failing an installation getting the driver from AMD. It is now running SETI@home GPU tasks and it will be interesting to compare it with the Geforge GTX 750 TI OC on my newer and faster Windows 10 PC. This Linux host is a 2008 vintage SUN workstation with a 1.8 GHz Opteron 1210, two cores, while the Windows PC sports a 3.7 GHz A10-6700 with 4 cores.
