It's fun. I was never into the air show, but I've always liked the fireworks. I used to walk down to the river to see it. The last ten years I've worked in a downtown hotel on Thunder, so that has tarnished the overall interest.

Soon it shall be time for the EAA conventing here as well.
I am close the the international airport, so the skies get very busy here for a few weeks.
And it is noteable, because some of those special planes make special sounds that I do not usually hear most of the year.

Yes, this thing has been going on for 26 years, but the tv announcers are pretty funny about it.

I have a nice shotgun house ready if you ever can come down this way.
