According to our Weatherbug station, the museum got 0.51" of rain today. This came in a couple of major waves and a few minor ones. The last brought noticeably cooler temperatures. The recorded high was a mere 76F, which I'm not sure I believe. Current is 61 with a dew point of 19, which I definitely don't believe. Low tonight will be 55. High tomorrow 72. Sounds wonderful.

We've had some miserable weather here this month with over 150mm (6') of rain and so far this morning the temp is stuck at 5C (feels like 0C).

Now that's the sort of rainfall that we would expect to be getting in January/February, not during our dry season (lucky I have gumboots).

Cheers.

Whole bunch of tornadoes across Indiana and into Ohio last night.

Around here: lingering rain, dew point 69F. High 82.

Looking wet for at least Saturday at the museum.

...and in Brum (a few hundred miles West of where Mike is) the temperature isn't too high, probably about 20C, but the humidity is high, and it is raining :-(

Been avoiding the news, which means I don't catch a lot of weather either. Right now, the weather station on the roof of WGN TV says 73.

[update]

Skilling says it will get down to 63F tonight with a comfortable dew point tomorrow and a high of 80. But then the dew point will come back above 70 for the weekend and no highs less than 80 for at least a week. Another bleah weekend at the museum.

It'd really make me happy if the dew point would drop about 5 or 10°F.

We received 322.5mm (12.7") here this winter, which is suppose to be our "dry season", we're usually lucky to get a tenth of that (even the rabbits are wearing gumboots).

The average temps were also down by 1.8C over the same period.

I wonder what has our "wet season" got in store for us?

Cheers.
