Ok the temp here is 109F, Heat Index 102°F, Dew Point 28°F, Humidity 6%, Saturday is supposed to be 112F here, ugh.

I never lived in an area that the heat index was lower than the actual temperature.

Not venturing outside today.

Still things can get pretty painful when they are hot to the touch, steering wheels come to mind, I've had to use paper towels to drive the car, with the windows down...

The temp here is 93F, Heat Index 89°F, Dew Point 43°F, Humidity 18%, today is supposed to be 113F here, no matter how you slice it, that is pretty hot.

Yes, that is kind of weird.

I live in a desert, though the humidity has gotten higher, almost double what it used to be...

I just never knew a heat index number could be lower than the actual temp. Sounds almost like a wind chill in the summer. ;~)

The kitties are laid back and resting comfortably.
Well over 80f here, but the thing is the humidity.
I walked outside a bit ago, and could hardly breath it in.
Made a hasty retreat to the crunching den.

66°F/19°C. Fair. Humidity = 75%. High to be 88°F, but 5° cooler on
Cape Cod. So. . . No swimming, probably; Great White Sharks are back,
due to increased numbers of seals. :o(

Dew points expected to be near 80F today, which will push actual temps in the low 90s to heat indices over 100. "Cold" front will bring more storms in the afternoon, but not like yesterday. A mere 89 tomorrow with much lower humidity.

The problem with high humidity is it makes it harder for your sweat to cool you.

101 F, 48 % Humidity, and feels like 113 outside. No rain or cooler temps in sight.

78, 39% RH inside, and quite comfy.

102-109F daily for the next 8-10 days.
Very little wind, low humidity.
Usual summer inversion layer, with smoke from 3 fires trapped underneath.
Not fun. Air tastes like dusty attic.
