it was another great day, sat under a shade tree on a bench and the sky was deep blue. I hope tomorrow brings more of the same. :)

today is calling for 82ºF and light winds, zero chance of rain.

Looked out of back of house as I put my shoes on - no rain.
Got to front door - raining, back to get waterproof jacket.
Back to front door - absolutely hurling it door, wait five minutes as I had the time
Raining even harder - take car to station
Get to station - rain stopped
Waiting for train and it was raining again, only to stop as soon as on the train, no rain until off the train at my destination.
Walk to office - rain
Enter office - rain stops

Ah, the joys of a proper English Summer :-(

Around 90f with icky humidity here for the next few days. The kitties are shutting the crunching farm down so they, the crunchers, and Dad don't all melt down.
Might be able to crunch through the weekend, then some more downtime next week.
Wish we could get just a pinch of that Ice Age here about now.

This is real nasty stuff to have to work 11 hour shifts in.

Oh and We are in an Ice Age, as Answers.com says:

The present ice age, which started about 2.6 million years ago, has not ended; we are just in a warm period called an interglacial.

Caught the northern fringe of the storms last night. Slightly lower humidity today, 87F. A mere 77 tomorrow, then back to low-mid 80s for the weekend. Next rain Sunday night.

It's gonna be damned hot this week, especially Friday. Not as many actual degrees as Vic, but with high humidity making it feel as hot as Vic or worse.

I was out in that heat today, twice, a guy with a car here can be popular, sometimes,
at least with 2 homes here, neither has a car. I'm finding a black cloth seat is
not as bad as I thought too, leather though, I think I'll pass on, I used to get
the hot seat on black leather seats on motorcycles.

Ouch!
