Matador Santa case collapses. The defendant's claims that he shut his trousers in the sleigh door as it took off without him, and that approaching cyclists resemble charging bulls after three-million sherries, could not be refuted when the trial judge ordered a re-enactment and got arrested outside a pub wearing exhibit A. Not for the win because it's not a caption :) oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

.....shortly after his arrest, the inebriated department store Santa was heard to mumble "it seemed like a good idea at the time...." "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Judging to-day or late tonight, or in the morning. I am blown away by the creativity and humor you folks consistently come up with around here. This is what I call involvement.... thank you all. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ First of all I am shocked, "shocked" I say at the responses coming from our assortment of Lady members here. Poles, exhibit A, set of Jingle Bells? Ladies I am at a loss for words! I know I know, me at a loss for words may just be just about beyond the pale for some of you to contemplate, but there it is, at a loss for words. All is not lost, there were also some very impressive responses from our male yet still worthy volunteers. Polite kind responses derived from sober thought and years of serious study of the human condition. We have: "it seemed like a good idea at the time....", Flash it's Santa. One of my very ruminations. It is truly unfortunate that Must...tear...out...eyes... is not in the running, I liked that one a lot. Ever onward and upward, it came down to the final three, but all of the responses were so good that I just had to go to the one that seemed the most familiar reply, and that was supplied to us by Gary Charpentier: Its big, red and has a white beard....! Gary Charpentier: Winner! Gary you are a very interesting person to meet, I am sure you can get help for that. Thank you every one else for playing. This was one of the more funnier games for me. :):) Edit: PM on the way out. Really, it doesn't have to be that big I guess..... |

My dear Ian, thank you for the PM, but I see your post says I won, but gives Rob Smith's caption as the winning one. So before we continue can you clarify? |

Oh oh oh, I made a mistake. I am soooo sorry. I'll fix this now. Rob is the winner! PM on the way! :):) edit: Perhaps too much collywobbles medicine.... re-edit: It's ok I found the problem, I'm not taking enough collywobbles medicine..... |

Congratulations Rob! :) oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |
