$29.88 here...

Great find Mark, thanks.

Yeah 2 pair would be $67.75 from there, 1 pair is $37.87 total. Of course that only leaves the when.

Hope the quality is good....best of luck.

I got $200, from someone, though I don't think it was from here, of course now I have a problem, both Wepay and gofundme both want a verification code via text, I'm working on that, since My phone is down, I changed plans at Virgin Mobile and now I have no voice(text/sms) phone service until I pay $32.03. So far that $200 is going nowhere, maybe on Thorsday this will get fixed, it's that or May 1st...

Sigh.

stream a hell of a lot of content

I think a Roku device or something similar might be good, but of course Vic would still need an isp. If he's got one of the newer "smart" TV's, he might not even need an add-on, like a Roku.

He already has the smart part, it's called a PC.

Which has a problen loading device manager, as in "class not registered", so I am uninstalling ms updates, back to the 23rd, I am having trouble with "kb3020369" and "kb3020370", neither will uninstall, others have had problems with these two, which I think were optional win 7 pro x64 updates.

Just so I can attempt to repair windows using the install dvd.

My computers and tv's don't talk to each other. I would need a Roku or something similar.

you do realise that you can turn off uefi and put the board into legacy mode and turn off ahci and put it in ide mode that should solve the reinstall problem

The drives are not on the obvious UEFI mode, but on what Asus says is P3, P4, etc, etc. As to Legacy mode I have no idea about that, but I'll go and see what I can find in there, it's that or ask Asus.

The setting to turn UEFI on/off is buried in the depths of the BIOS, and is not obvious when "looking" at the drive itself. From memory on my Asus motherboards it is under the advanced settings, chip set options.

I cut most of my cable bill months ago. If you stream CBS, NBC and others, Install a HOSTS file. With this I can stream without ads. The alphabet networks complain if you have a ADBLOCK App running, but are seamless without ads if you use a HOSTS file.

I still use Comcast as my internet provider.

there you go

Thanks Zombu2 and Rob Smith.

Yeah, the 1st time I had two entries for the hdd and 3 partitions, then 2 partitions and now 1 partition, trying to get P3 online meant I had to reset the Bios to its defaults, since the Windows DVD on the 2nd Windows install attempt saw P3(250GB hdd), but the bios didn't.

Of course now I have a dual boot, since the bios figured out there is a Windows install on the 500GB Scorpio Black hdd and on the 250GB Raptor hdd.

well it is fairly easy to use the boot manager to do all that stuf for you so you only have to choose

but i see that you got the board online and it is producing results
noticed it yesterday when i had timelord on the horn

Now you could enable AHCI drivers in the win 7 registry and turn AHCI on on the board

That's nice, but where in the Bios??? AHCI is not mentioned, sure raid is and so is UEFI, I sure don't want to setup My OS again, not for the 4th time...

Steve

Just an android here(single core cpu), plus 3 PC's(2 under construction and waiting for parts, not to mention money, but they'll get done, eventually) and a motherboard to be RMAed to EVGA(the X79 Classified, it would be funny if I got an X79 Dark in exchange, but one never knows, as long as it works), on Monday or when I'm given the ok at least.

A 4" screen is not great, but in a pinch, it's better than nothing.
