What If...

What if creation or evolution took a different path?

What if humans never became or evolved?

Would another species have reached self awareness or domination in the way we have?

Would they have played music or created art like ours?

Would they have created our values or technology?

What would they have said if they looked into the sky and saw a planet filled with humans?

Would they like beer or pizza or a nice cup of tea?

Your imagination is free to roam :) ....

'To consider the earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain would grow.'

That is my belief. And that is why I search.

I've always wondered this about dinosaurs. They certainly were around long enough to get smart, so why didn't they invent computers?

I thought that their fine manipulation abilities were fairly minimal, or at least in all the ones I've seen skeletons & drawings of.

Unlike Monkeys & Apes - they are fairly dextrous already.

Right, but why is that? Were they already so dominant that they didn't need to evolve further?

Some of the most emotional musical moments of all time.

Clapton's kid was an amazing tragedy.

His ability to recover from it and give us his song when his loss was on his mind was something that most could not do.

We all get on, some better than others.

Tears in the rain. We all have them.

I have had more than my share.
I shall get on, just not quite the same as I used to. I shall never be the same without Tigger. It is just not possible. And I hope that most of you realize that this is a pain that shall never heal. It never can.

And that I am just carrying on here for the show?

I met a girl long ago. Who gave me shivers.
It was taken for granted what she wished to say to me.
She passed on shortly thereafter.

There have been some fleeting moments of our last contact, and none of you would believe me if I told you of them.
So, you can assume what you will as to who she was.
I can only say that her personna lives to this day. And in a sad kinda way, she always will.
My recollections of her remain priceless.
And as life does what it will, I hold the only memory of those moments.

Do you really know what was revealed the day the music died?

I came to know life that day.

I met a girl who sang the blues, and asked her for some happy news, but she just smiled and turned away.
That would have been Janis Joplin.
Not a word was spoken, the church bells all were broken.

Not too many know that 'the levvy' was an actual place up in northern Wisconsin.
Yes, there was a tavvy called the Levvy way up in the northern part of the state that some rock and rollers would frequent. They were all there that night.

I have been there. It is a greeting place for many years now. And shall be for years to come. And I am very sorry that when that plane came down that day, it became the final resting place of some of the most notatble musicians on this earth.
