Thor has been here many times this last week.
But now when it's Thursday in just 1 hours he is not here! As usual on a Thursday.
But where is he?
Perhaps this time he is annoyed by the "Up Helly Aa 2018" Fest http://www.uphellyaa.org/ that is on Tuesday 30th January 2018
Anyway. The following Wednesday is a public holiday in Lerwick to allow for recovery.

It's that day of the week again here down under and it's a cool, damp and dreary one at that.

But in 3.5hrs time things should brighten up (even if the weather doesn't) when the festivities begin.

Thor is back!

The Swedish Transport Administration states that road conditions in the eastern part of Norrland are already "very difficult".
Schools are closed, train, bus and air traffic schedules are all cancelled.
"I've lived here throughout my life and have never been to this. It's terribly much snow, says SVT's reporter in place.
One meter of snow is forecasted for tomorrow in Sundsvall...

Elliot, 9 years old, could not attend school today
How does it feel that you can not go to school today?
- Well, pretty good. What was bad I had schoolbooks with me home yesterday. So now I have to work a bit anyway. I should have hid them away.
