I guess there must not be much of interest happening in the world of science lately, at least judging by the lack of volume in the science thread. It seems that ESA's ExoMars is on its way to Mars despite an alarm for pieces of the rocket's fourth stage seeming to accompany it. Instead JAXA's Hitomi X-ray telescope seems to have broken up. Space is always a risk. Tullio |

ESA says it is in nominal shape. Of course one must wait for arrival at Mars and attempting to land the Schiaparelli lander. Landing on Mars is always difficult. Tullio |
