This is the basis for human life as we know it.

Simply put, but immutably true.
One plus one never equals two.

Holy cow! I didn't get to that part of the movie. I started watching it a few days ago, and turned it off because it wasn't grabbing me, but that was an interesting scene.

I watched the rest of the movie this afternoon.

It was like Altered States meets The Matrix and the Borg, with The Time Machine mixed in. Lucy's disappearing act at 100% didn't surprise me.

The thing I've always been skeptical about is the small % of the brain we supposedly only use. Where/how do they come up with that?

We saw that film when it was out on general release. I thought it was a very good and deep film, but I agree that the start was a bit slow. However there was, I thought, a lot of background to fill in, including the 'technical' side.

We enjoyed it a lot.

Without time........we do not exist.

Time is the enabler. The thing that makes it what we are.
Even in this instance, we talk about light years.

Without time, there is just a void that even man cannot fulfiil nor carry forward.

Even as I speak to you, these forums keep track of time.
Every post, every second of time is recorded by the servers.
Every single second I spend with you here is recorded and saved.

Every single second of my time is tracked and although might not be monitored, IS recorded.

As was that single moment in Dallas.
