SETI@home: Notice from server
Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a usable version of SETI@home v8.

i cannot seem to fix this. by uninstall and reinstall seti and lunatics.
any ideas on how to fix this?

What site did you download it from? All mirror sites should be hosting the same versions, with the current version number 0.44
