Not too bad atm. Been to the follow-up clinic who are happy with my progress. Looking forward to regaining full hearing, can't hear any bass atm so music enjoyment out :-(

Hoping no holdups up on the 18th at Addenbrookes as I want to go see the opening of the Air Museum on the 19th :-)

I just watched a show on tv about a German U-boat that was sunk in the Gulf of Mexico, during WWII. A depth charge by a U.S. ship caused the hull pressure on the sub to set off it's torpedoes, self-destructing itself.

My Dad's home town Accrington was the smallest to form a Pals Battalion, the 11th Battalion, The East Lancashire Regiment. They went over the top at 7:30 on the 1st July 1916. Twenty minutes later, of the 720 Accrington Pals who went over the top, 584 were declared killed, wounded or missing in the attack.

Accrington prepares to honour its Battle of the Somme Pals
