I presume that the FRB was recorded and examined for any type of purposive message. If not, why not; sinice it would be of no interest to SETI if so.

From what I've seen, 'all they know' is it isn't likely to be one-off collisions.

Saw this news today and came rushing here to check what implications this has for SETI.

Interesting that the sources of these FRBs can't even be pinpointed to a specific galaxy. Makes me wonder if SETI could pinpoint the origin of a strong candidate signal.

just as suspected before, they think it's Magnetar?!

but also, FRB have been observed with LIGO during Black holes merger...so scientist have to find a way to distinguish one from another...
