Ya know....
We all have our things.
Little oddities we enjoy that make us...special.
I have several I can speak of. And a few I can't...LOL.

One, of course as you know, is computers. Making them run, and run fast.

The second one is clocks.
I am obsessed with the keeping of time and the passage of it.
I have maybe twenty or so around the house.
I have a GC1000 Heathkit clock that I modified, and it displays real time in 10ths of a second. Synchs to the master clock signals broadcast by the government.
Also a few by La Crosse I am going to buy that 20 inch model.
The only obsession I shall never be able to indulge in is a fine grandfather clock. I simply don't have anywhere to put one.

Another obsession of mine is temperature. This of course grew out of my computer fix. Running nine computers full tilt 24/7 requires temperature and airflow management. I have many fans circulating the air around the home.
I cut two attic fans into the ceiling in the garage. Wired to a thermostat above the door going from the kitchen into the garage. When the tstat senses that things are getting warm, it fires up the fans, which then suck countless cubic feet per minute out.
An open window in the bathroom allows ambient outside air to come in and cool the crunchers. When things get really warm, I also fire up a box fan that wafts whatever coolness that's available towards the crunching den.

Yeah, I do have my oddities....and I love them.

I still consider to be the best rock and roll/blues band I ever heard.

No prisoners taken full out blues/rock.

Just the way I like it.
Even the Rolling Stones were NOT this good live.
They did not have the collective soul that the J. Geils band had as a cohesive group. Everything clicked. Everything worked.
Everyone rocked.
The mix is interesting, because Geils' guitar is not up front.
The bass is as it should be...loud and strong.
Bass players are way too underrated. Sure, they are not the flash of the lead man, but they get him where he is going.
This mix is about the best any sound engineer could dream of.
Things come into and out of the mix as the sound board guy turns the knobs.

Best listened to at the maximum volume setting.

Meow!!

Mark.

This has probably been mentioned before.

But one of your enclosed pictures is showing an airflow having three separate fans for cooling.

I happen to be having two similar or the same of brand Corsair, which is the computer I am using, at least when it comes to the box.

Not being used right now because the Noctua fan is being mounted atop the processor in this computer, a fan could be used both for the generation of heat or for more chilly air, although not a fridge at all, but rather more temperate.

Because I am sitting still much of the day on a somewhat hard chair, I sometimes get a bad stomach and also problems with the feet at night.

Previous education and walking at school, as well as carrying out service and also having to walk to the shop rather than drive using a car does not make things any better, although such things like acupuncture, medicine or reading glasses probably would help a bit.

Also sitting in a cold room after the dinner does not make things any better and the computer may not be working that well at times because of this.

Heating is supposed to be for the purpose of living. You may survive a cold day, but not necessarily enjoy the evening.

Lights in your home does not draw that much power, but both the water storage tank for a shower as well as the oven or microwave is drawing much electrical power by means of current and therefore making the electrical biil higher.

A recent discovery about batteries is now making it possible to last such things much longer, but for now I do not have the details here.

Why not ask the taxman as well?

Could you perhaps be able to get a refund or deduction on your taxes because you can come up with a paper showing that you either are suffering from an illness, or perhaps doing a given thing for a certain purpose?

The sad fact is that a bad economy means having a larger expense than income.

If you are becoming a rich man with a large salary, the result becomes inflation because you can offer to pay.

The opposite is deflation or even worse. Pay someone using money you do not have and you may still consider yourself being a rich man.

Hope this may be of some help.

Here is another episode.....
Quite an epic one.
Relating to us and...........dare I say, GOD.
As always, narrated by the wonderful Morgan Freeman.
This episode tries to explan, as I have for years, why I believe in God.
Although there is no proof just yet, I find it impossible to believe there is not.

I have done something I cannot forgive or forget.

I have gone to forever sleep over it.

I have to go now. Time has run out for me now.

It was so wonderful.

But it is gone now.

Every day, the soul of Tigger arises stronger than the last.

The gurl still awakens me from my dreams with her loud meows.

To give me hope, to give me life, to give me strength for the coming day.
It is her mission to do so. And she does.

Yes, Tigger may have left the building physically, but she has left her soul behind to guide me.
So, in that manner, Tigger still lives.
